Won the VIN lottery on Monday afternoon. Called Tesla - Portland to set up a delivery appointment and they said it would most likely be here this weekend. We set a tentative appointment for this Saturday morning and they would follow up closer to that to see if that is accurate.

I called and talked to them yesterday and they told me that it is still sitting at Fremont waiting to get matched to a truck. I'll call in later today to see if they have an update but I really don't feel good about taking delivery this week. Kind of scared to hear the bitter truth haha
Bitter truth, indeed! So close, and yet so far…

They just added the appointment to my account page with no other communication. I had the appointment without a VIN. I reached out to my SA once I saw the appointment there and he gave me the VIN. Don't know about final payment, I financed everything except for the $2500 order deposit so I have $0 balance due. Actually, my account now says I owe -$20.00, since the licence fees are lower now than when I placed the order.
Weird, but awesome! I've tried calling the store that was selected to be the pickup location to try and talk to someone, but nobody answers. Pretty close to my EDD and I'm on my 2nd vin; starting to lose hope.. :(

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my VIN!!!!!

EDD 6/17-6/21
We literally have the same exact car, except I have white interior. Ordered from the same exact place, except I ordered a couple weeks before you... and I still have no VIN.

Nice Tesla, Nice! /s

I'm happy for you though, enjoy her in good health! :)

How does Tesla contact you to schedule delivery and make final payment; email, text or call? EDD is 6/20-6/25, I have a VIN, but it's been so quiet.
I got none of the above. I logged in to my account, and my delivery appointment was scheduled for me. I'm 460 miles from the delivery center in Nashville where my car is going--you'd think I'd be offered some input on the delivery date. My delivery appointment is on 6/28, and I'm super pumped!

I picked it up today, been a long day. The car looked great had a weird thing going on with the two brake lights. driver side/charge port side appeared to be out a little but lined up good with the deck lid and the passenger side was so tight in it had chipped the deck lid in transport. they fixed the paint while I waited and said they would call when a fix for the light was available. They shot me free connectivity for a year and told me they would give me $300 for hazards like road hazard etc. that would not expire. They were really good nice and helpful just seemed like everyone was back and forth to many hands in the pot not knowing exactly what the other was doing but overall a excellent experience! They let me take the red one out for lunch in Charlotte while they fixed the chip. it was also a M3P. Great day what a freaking ROCKET! Tesla win overall 5 stars.

My delivery appointment is not until Saturday morning, but I new my car arrived at Tesla Ottawa on Tuesday, so I decided to go have look today since it was really nice weather-wise and I had the evening free. The car looks pretty good. Panel gaps are not perfect, but no worse than my two previous new cars (a Chevy and a Nissan). The gaps where the trunk meets the roofline on either side of the window are not quite the same on both sides, although neither are unacceptable to me. Same for where the rear bumper cover meets the quarter panel. The gaps are acceptable on either side, but not quite the same. That's being rather picky though, and most people would not notice. I don't think I'm going to bother trying to get those adjusted.

There is a very small paint chip on the rear bumper cover just where it meets the quarter panel on the passenger side. It's only a few millimetres across, but the black chip on the pristine white car will drive me nuts. I'll email my SA to ask that they fix it before I pick it up on Saturday.

Apart from those tiny nit-picks, the car looks awesome. I love the Uberturbines on the white car a lot more than I thought I would (I had never seen them in person before). The wait until Saturday morning is going to be hard now :)

Here's a pic, although it's not technically mine yet :) I think it needs window tint ASAP.

Ok folks, we picked up Spokane today… the crew out there, despite not being so hot over the phone we’re great in person. The car was in fantastic condition, no major issues at all, just a couple itty bitty issues: one door handle slightly sunken, charge port door a tiny bit out of alignment, things like that.

So now I introduce “Neko la Tesla”. 365 miles home was a perfect test run… this car is FUNNN, 0-60 in 3.1 is no joke, and we didn’t even get close to cracking its top speed.

I’ll be honest, I’m not gone for good, but I probably won’t be signing in for a few days 😜

I gotta say, the Uberturbines are growing in me! Nice spec.
