Word of advice: don’t fill out any of your pre-delivery tasks if your plan is to delay until September. You won’t get matched to a VIN until your profile is complete, and your order isn’t considered to be on hold, so Tesla won’t pester you to take delivery or cancel the order after a 90 day hold.

Ask me how I know :p
They already texted me and said go ahead and fill it out. Im good for now.

Thank you for the advice!

Panicked with the Long Range price increases, and put in an order yesterday. I am hoping to take delivery later this year, the plan is to put it on hold as long as Tesla will let me, and then ride the huge order increase wave. If it all goes right, I can take delivery in September or so.

OD: 3/10/2022
Blue, White, No FSD.
Currently says EDD May 31 - June 28.

Replacing my current 2018 LR RWD Blue, Black, basic AP with 70k miles.
You’re lucky!

I ordered yesterday white, black, aero no FSD.

OD 3/10/22 (website forecasted May delivery)
EDD today: Jun 15-Jul 13

Super annoyed right now.

Do not believe the forecasted date it’s BS

Please excuse multiple postings. I have performed a basic analysis of Troy Teslike's Spreadsheet data. I believe it may be of interest to many.

Please review. I look forward to receiving feedback. Thank you!

Unfortunately the table in the APPENDIX is not very readable. The original analysis was carried out using RMarkdown in html. I used an online program to convert html to pdf format so I could share this analysis. On the whole the conversion was successful with exception of the last table.

Don't believe the actual delivery date!

Was gonna drive 250 miles to pick up tomorrow, and just now...

Good afternoon, it looks like your vehicle is waiting on a harness part. The harness in your vehicle wasn't working properly, so we need to replace it. The order has been placed, but we are waiting for parts to arrive. We have pushed your vehicle delivery out another week for timing.

FML 🤦‍♂️

Well, originally i put a thumb down, but i am changing to thumb up. We have to give them props for wanting to address the issue with the car before you pick it up, vs you taking delivery and having to schedule a service appt...

Where are you taking delivery?

Las Vegas.

I am not upset about the delay. *sugar* happens. I was just pointing out that, since cars are assigned from the factory, along the way there maybe something that can cause delay in delivery. Believe it when you're driving the car off the lot, kind of....

LV Tesla has been accomodating (with my request to pick up on weekend vs the 3 day window), and there is an awesome Delivery Specialist that's been helping with my situation.

They are assigning me another VIN vs this defective one.

Ordered my M3P on 02/10.
White, Black interior, No FSD. Location is Houston, Texas.

EDD hasn’t changed since order date and still shows Apr 19-May 21.

Sold my old 2018 M3LR to take advantage of the used car market and hoped that EDD would move but to no avail so far.

Anybody have any luck with that configuration?

I swear, I think Tesla uses a dartboard to come up with these EDD dates... o_O

I am in NY as well, and getting the car at the same location. I ordered 2 days prior to you, and my EDD window is 6/7 - 7/4.... 🤔 The only difference is your car is black/black, and mine is silver/black, so I that color makes it get here earier? I dunno.

I guess it will get here when it gets here... 🤓

Tesla has been raising prices most likely due to what is happening with nickel. They didn't raise M3P yet luckily. Are we locked in at the current price if we already ordered?
Interesting question, due to the range of the M3P I was under the impression our batteries also had nickel chemistry, so the decision not to raise M3P base prices might be based on other factors. As an example, what would be the rationale to raise the starting price on the MYP and not the M3P? Everyone who has a firm order is protected from future price increases. Given current volatile market conditions, it would not surprise me if the price on the M3P jumps $1500 - $2000 in April '22.

OD: 03/06 for a LR white with black interior and sport wheels.

Changed my order today 03/12 to Performance. White with black interior.

I’ll be trading or selling my 2018 Subaru STI. I’ll def miss it but super excited for this Tesla.
I’m selling my 2019 STi Limited and feel the same way. The Tesla seems like the opposite of the STi in many ways. I’ve loved it, but time to move on.

New to posting on the forum but been following the thread for the past month+. Wanted to share my timeline as it may help others who are anxiously waiting and checking their app every second as I was. lol I picked up my car yesterday and trust me when I say it is well worth the wait!

M3P White on White No FSD
OD: 2/10/22
EDD1: March 2022
EDD2 (2/11): April 9 - May 7 (Completed all tasks on this day)
EDD 3 (2/12): March 5 - 31
EDD 4 (3/6): April 9 - May 7
EDD5: (3/10): March 10-14
Received VIN: 3/10 (Morning)
Picked it up on March 11 in Colma

Pick up was smooth and easy. My frunk was a little miss aligned in the front and I let the guy know who helped me with taking delivery. He had someone come out immediately and correct it. Back inside right door panel had some residue from the protection material on the inside door handle. They cleaned it immediately. Everything else was perfect and the car is awesome! The agent helping me said they had 75 cars that were being picked-up on that day. He said they are definitely pushing inventory for the end of the quarter.
