I definitely want to see before and after pictures of your 15mm spacers. Hadn’t thought about that but probably would look a little meaner. I might go that route

I thought about grabbing some spacers but I've seen so much conflicting info on what sizes work with no adjustments I got scared off.

Did you buy a Homelink mirror or the Homelink Tesla has to install?

I bought the Tesla homelink. Going to see if they can install it when I pick up the car

Nah, I placed the order on May 15. The delivery date has wobbled back and forth but in the last week or so it's progressively narrowed. At one point, it was June 4-18, but it got moved to June 11-25 after June 4 came and went.

I'll let you know today when I call them to ask . Just waiting to firm up my financing and insurance first before I ask.

On a side note - I've got a big box of accessories my wife has been groaning about sitting in our living room that she'll be happy to see gone.

Accessories I bought:

- 15mm Spacers for Front and Back (better handling and more aggressive look)
- Red puddle lights for the doors and footwells (doors will have tesla logo - symbol only no text)
- HANSSHOW Yoke Steering Wheel (White)
- Tesla AW Floormats
- Mats for Frunk, Trunk, and trunk storage
- White accent pieces for the center console
- Homelink (garage door opener)
- Windshield sun blocker
- Mud flaps
- Air Filter protective grill (apparently these are no bueno)

Question: my EDD (already have VIN) is 6/18-6/22. Last Friday I received a text my Tesla has departed the factory. Does the app (eventually) change with a pop up to advise me to schedule pick-up? What does it look like?

supposedly you get a text. I got the same text last Thursday. EDD shifted left to 6/16 - 6/21. No text to schedule delivery yet

Some cheapo ones from Amazon. I didn't like the Tesla ones because the back ones are long. I mostly got them to protect the fenders since I am putting spacers on. Here's the link of what I bought on Amazon:

delivery. I've had my VIN for over a week. Went by the Tesla Service Center where I'll pick up my car yesterday and the guy told me my car may already be in their back lot. They've got inspections and prep they need to do before they schedule the pick up....that made me feel great...grrr....

I did a LOT of research on the spacers... it really comes down to buying from the right vendor (bloxsport was the most recommended which is what I ordered). I just realized I did 20mm and not 15mm. I will definitely share pics before/after.

BTW - a cheap and simple thing to use for your pickup is to get a roll of yellow circle dot stickers. I plan on using them to mark any imperfections or problems with the car. Just to make it easier with your checklist when you pick up.

Any concerns with camber? I kinda figured people moved to aftermarket suspension when they did spacers. Im not an expert at all.

20mm requires no further modifications? Maybe it was the smaller spacers I was reading about...

Nope. Someone posted that their car was orders in May and it actually had the charger in it.


Well, unless Tesla's incompetence has them giving chargers to those who shouldn't have them and holding up cars who should have them.
