I think he means 3,000 / week.
Ya man...I mean 3,000 TM3 models produced at the Gigafactory in Fremont per each week.....
Or approximately 12,000 TM3 a month!
FWIW, I saw bunch of new Model 3s loaded on a 18 wheeler leaving the factory today
Has there been confirmation that the Model 3 production line has started again?
I'm pretty sure those are heading to Ontario. How do I know this? I don't. Just wishful thinking.
I doubt there will be any official confirmation. Since we are way over a week removed from when the shutdowns were reported, I'm nearly sure production has started already.
Who has toured the factory in the last couple days? Let us know.
Were they traveling on 680 N to the 80 E?
Not direct / official confirmation, but people are reporting receiving VINs at a higher rate than during the shutdown. (See the spreadsheet in the sticky thread above or my site that pulls and charts the same data).
VINs are one data point, a bit weak data point.
The hard and irrefutable data point is seeing the lot fill up and cars getting hauled out at a steady high rate.
My brother in Phoenix was originally supposed to pick up his Model 3 TODAY. He now gets to pick it up next Tuesday. DUH I think that means something is happening at the factory.
It got pushed back 4 days. That's about the duration of the pause; so you're thinking it means the pause is over?
He texted me at 11:27 pm on 04/15 just before the shut down, expecting his car TODAY 05/27. He just texted me that he will pick up his car next Tuesday May 1.
