That's great. I hope to have mine next week and hopefully it's of the same build quality.

Pictures?
I actually got the car and put it in the garage right away as I was leaving for Hawaii, where I am right for a few weeks vacation, will post pics once I come back for sure. That being said, I didn't have time to check the paint with a flashlight, only did a a couple pass at the Tesla dealership. It's going in for a nano costing anyway as soon as I get back.

I was interested in gambling in the CPO market so I went to the Tesla Showroom last week to just test drive a S. I currently own a 2007 3 series, so just wanted to get a feel of the size. Definitely a lot bigger, but more "planted" than the BMW btw.

I was offered a inventory 75D (guaranteed under 50 miles) w/ a pretty good discount, offer to keep the 21' rims (while installing the 19s), and first year of service thrown in. Including the Fed tax incentive, this brought the car down significantly and not much more than a CPO (albeit a 75D w/o autopilot instead of a P85D or similar w/ autopilot).

I decided to order it on the spot. As being a inventory car in the area, I was told I could take delivery by the end of the month (going on a two week trip the first weekend of October). As of right now, I completed all the tasks required about 5 days ago (requesting delivery on the 29th), but I have not heard back from anyone at Tesla. I have been assured by my Owner Advisor about a week ago that the final MVPA will be in my Tesla Account, but I had to request the initial one from him and was never uploaded to my account, even to this day.

How worried should I be that I need the final MVPA for my bank in the next two days so they can send a check for the financed piece? Also I will be putting the $7,500 down payment w/ my own money. Can I do a separate ACH transfer and bank check for payment?

I understand they are super busy with the Model 3 deliveries, but a little more communication would go a long way to the buying experience...

As I wrote this my Owner Advisor followed up on an email I sent earlier. Confirmed the wheels and annual service. Said that the contracts team is still going through the queue and will ask his management to request this be expedited so I can get the final MVPA? Feeling a lot better after almost a week of silence :)

I just took delivery of an inventory 100D yesterday. Original delivery date was last Friday, but the Tesla contracts team was unable to get the final MVPA to me and my credit union on Friday. Keep up the pressure on your Owner Advisor and Delivery Specialist or it may not get done in time.

Thanks for the advice. I have been doing just that the past couple days. You really have push to get everything done and I got my MVPA earlier today! It did help that I got a call that my car was ready for delivery too and would assume they don't want it sitting on their lot for a long time taking up space. I need to make a minor edit to the MVPA per the bank, so hopefully that gets sorted, but sounds like I can send that in later. Just need to docusign and I can take it home. CAN'T WAIT!

May be my story is routine.
Tesla is forcing me to take delivery in a particular day. My work does not allow me to get out that day and I offered 6 other dates that would work for me - but no, Tesla does not want to listen to any of that.
"If you are not available, the driver will unload the car and leave it parked in the driveway with everything in the "glove compartment".

Told the DS I dont have a driveway
So they ll leave it on the road or some random parking lot chosen by driver.

/end rant

OK

But really ? what if I discover damage to the car when I arrive ? I asked the DS if Tesla takes responsibility till I get home check the car and she didnt answer that question.

I feel I am being flexible offering alternate dates, also offering to take delivery on a later day / month if it matches my schedule. I cant reschedule stuff, waiting time alone for which is 3-4 months, let alone the work that goes into all the prep to get there.

/not happy/

really wish there was a service center where I could show up a weekend I have off and take delivery

Hi Everybody. Does anyone know approximately how long orders for MS are taking right now in Canada? They are saying that if you order today, the vehicle will be delivered in November. Curious if that possibly means early November or late November. Anyone here recently received delivery in Canada?

HI,

I took delivery of my MS September 12th after putting alot of pressure on Tesla Canada (Toronto and Montreal shops). To make a short story, I was leaving on Sept 13th out of the country for almost a month and Tesla didn't want to deliver the car to me if I was away, had to either cancel my order or pray for a delivery before my departure. I picked up the car the day before my flight at 7pm, was a close call but my DS and everyone at Tesla worked very hard and I did mention to them thst I appreciated everything they did to get my car before I leave. So in all, my order was confirmed on July 17th. So it basically took 2 months and a few days, I am based In Montreal. Do Remeber that tesla produces cars in batches for certain area. If you are lucky or unlucky you might order at the right time when they pressure a certain region (east Canada). Rule of thumb is always add one month to the delifery estimate on the page, mine said August when I ordered and got it mid September.

Hope it helps, if u have any other questions do not hesitate.

Hello @Ahzuz
Congratulations on your MS. I am part of the small group of Tesla owners in Northern New England. Let me know if you interested in being 'in the know'. We have a maillist for local events if you are into those. Email frequency is about 1 per month
