Can anyone tell if they have had their estimated dates moved forward significantly (greater than 2 weeks)?

bigdomer: I wouldn't worry too much, the website has shifted backwards to November for all models. So you might get it sooner than you think :)

I had a October Delivery estimate (confirmed on 7/21) and was given the impression it would be the later part of October. This morning it changed to Late September. So I assume at least 2 weeks there.

On a side note... what is the etiquette with talking to your DS about getting a VIN? I was aproved for financing and would prefer not to apply again. My financing is good until Sept 1st and the check would be good for 30 days. So in theory with my new delivery date bumped to late September, I could have the check sent Sept 1st (last date financing is still valid) and the check would last the rest of September, so I should be good with this round of financing.

My concern is more that I need to have VIN in order for them to send a check out. Should I have any issue with Telsa giving me a VIN 30 days or earlier to my delivery date (based off my new Late September estimate) ? Back to my initial question, at what point is it worth asking my DS, and should I mention my situation?

I'm sure your DS would want to know about your situation. They may or may not be able to help, but it's their job to make your delivery experience as smooth as possible so let them know what's up and they'll do what they can.

Ordered 6/25/14, with "Late September Delivery" indicated. RN559369.

Confirmed 6/30/14. S85, Pearl White, No Pano, Std. 19" wheels, Tech Pkg., Tan Leather, Obeche Gloss, Dual Chargers, Premium Interior Lighting, Parking Sensors. Added UHF Sound 7/9.

After confirming, estimated delivery changed to just "September". Sometime after, estimated delivery again changed to "Late September".

VIN (52675) posted on dashboard 8/4/14. Estimated delivery still indicated as "Late September".

S85 with Black exterior, black leather, piano black interior, tech package, no pano, 19 inch standard wheels, standard suspension
Ordered and Confirmed on 7/30

I haven't received a call from my DS yet and I'm going to be out of the country soon for a few weeks but I don't want to miss a call from my DS. It shouldn't impact my delivery schedule right?

No it shouldn't. If you're worried, just ask your DS to use e-mail if anything should come up while you're out of the country. (Assuming you have e-mail access at least?) Regardless, at this early in the process you shouldn't be concerned.

Lot's of movement in delivery dates associated with big deferral in production that arose last weekend. I panicked on Saturday morning when I saw the jump from late October to December for P85. Immediately drove to Tesla to see the new steel grey in order to finalize. Ordered & confirmed same day. Luckily, my delivery date has continued to get shorter since Saturday. On Monday, it went from December to late November. Yesterday, it went to late October. Great news for sure as I am anxious for it.

You should call your Delivery Specialist. I confirmed on 6/14 and I got a delivery date weeks ago. In fact, a couple of days ago, the specific date and time showed up on my dashboard.

Ordered 6/13
Confirmed 6/17
VIN 52913
RN816029
S85
Metallic Gray/Black Textile
Pano Roof
Previously showed "Late September," now "September"

Also got the call today about the change in gray paint.

Called my DS today. Delivery on the site says September. He said they would have more information next week but plan for first week in September. He indicated they were slightly ahead of the plan production. VIN 49836.

S85, Blue, Pano Roof, Tan Leather, Lacewood, Tech Pkg, Parking Sensors. This is the only number I have so far. RN583569.
Ordered August 2, delivery "December". Within 2 weeks, the projected delivery went from "Late October", to November (no surprise), and then in 1 day, between Aug 1 (test drive) and Aug 2 (order), "December". Boohoo.....will be a long 4 months!

...then this week went back to November and now at Late October!
