I thought there was something in the installation guide about 3 AWG being too (physically) large to use with the HPWC.
...for the ground.
The non-grounded (hot) conductors must be minimum #3 for 100A. The instruction guide says max #4 for ground.

I got mine delivered on 02/11, installed on 02/12 (yesterday). It works (and looks) great. Life is good again.
Thanks. I got it out of my warehouse. It is a 4" plastic cable support "J-hook" made by Panduit. I'll post a close-up pic and provide the part number tomorrow when I'm back at my office.Nice pic. Thanks. Does your cable holder come with the unit? Most of us have a slip saying our holders come later. If this holder didn't come with the unit, would you tell me where you get your holder?
Here you go. I'll send you one (on me) if you want - just PM me your address.Thanks. I got it out of my warehouse. It is a 4" plastic cable support "J-hook" made by Panduit. I'll post a close-up pic and provide the part number tomorrow when I'm back at my office.

The HPWC reminds me more and more of a Battlestar Galactica Cylon Centurion... is it just me?
Received High Power Wall Connector today 2/11/13. Cable organizer to be shipped at a later date. My car was delivered on 11/2/12 Signature #121. Now I have the added ability to quick charge the perfect car.

If they used an, um, different "more modern" Cylon model I bet they'd get a few more buyers -- even people without cars.I had the same first thought!
Oh, there will be a cable organizer, after all? I thought I'd read elsewhere on the forum that there wouldn't be.
How long is the cable--longer than the UMC (or at least as long, I hope)?
I would call...lots of people are getting their chargers..sounds like the parcel shelves are just starting to show up though. So If we're Signature 385 / Vin 553 and we still haven't received our HPWC nor our parcel shelf is it time to place a disgruntled call to Ownership yet?
Disgruntled would be counter-productive, but a call is probably a good idea to nudge the process.I would call...lots of people are getting their chargers..sounds like the parcel shelves are just starting to show up though.
