I sure hope Tesla would consider offering at least as an option a highly appointed interior for their cars - that would kill Taycan, not the Nürburgring lap time.

I agree with that! I'd willingly pay more for a more plush interior, especially since you sit inside the car most of the time, and not just admire the exterior looks occasionally. But sadly, the M3 interior confirms they are hell bent on minimalism ..

It is pretty bad they don't even have map holders for the back seats though, sparse is one thing but they are missing some must have interior options too.

Map holders? What decade are you from? They are called "seat back pockets". Yes plenty of uses, especially when you cart kids around back there. Perfect for stashing iPads out of sight when at a rest stop.
