God I JUST got my delivery of a MXP a month ago! I hope that it is able to be retrofitted! I would give anything for Elon to let that happen! Form what I’m hearing the wires and the connections are all there! Fingers crossed and hoping like hell

Interesting... it only shows it on the Stealth Grey picture.
Probably haven’t had time to update the other graphics yet. It wouldn’t make sense that only the stealth grey would get it.Interesting... it only shows it on the Stealth Grey picture.
From not a tesla app. This again? When HW4 was shipped people thought the same thing and there were threads that a camera was in the T on the front...looked just like that.
Yeah, I get that. I think a lot of times NATA uses TMC and other social media as a source. That article appears to be purely speculation. They're working off the same information as the rest of us.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the S/X get the front bumper camera, but it's curious that it seems to have been removed from the Highland at the last second.
This. Not a Tesla App has also delivered headlines such as New update allows users to adjust regen on all Teslas. HW4 S/X new camera position (with this picture...basically the same thing people are falling for now) and other wrong stuff. That article appears to be purely speculation. They're working off the same information as the rest of us.

People want the camera so bad they see what they want to see. That's not what people are pointing to as the possible camera. There seems to be something to the left of the logo within the gap between the frunk and the trunk. But I'm not convinced that isn't just the render's lighting change showing whatever's normally within the gap. It looks too far back to be a wide angle camera IMO
Never give up the hope.Until it's confirmed people should assume there is no camera there.

I don't think so since the S/X already exists without it. They would need a configuration to differentiate between the ones with it and ones without.Or that could mean that this is not an option, but a standard feature on S/X maybe?
That’s a bummer. Got all hyped for nothing What is the non RGB premium lighting then? The footwells/map lights? Does it also appear in older code?So digging through the json stuff in the latest toolbox javascript, I found the below:
Code:"accessId":26, "codeKey":"interiorLighting", "content":{ "enums":[ { "codeKey":"BASE", "description":"Base interior lighting", "value":0, "products":[ "Cybertruck", "Lychee", "Model3", "ModelY", "Poppyseed", "Tamarind" ] }, { "codeKey":"PREMIUM", "description":"Premium interior lighting", "value":1, "products":[ "Cybertruck", "Lychee", "Model3", "ModelY", "Poppyseed", "Tamarind" ] }, { "codeKey":"PREMIUM_NO_POCKET_LIGHT", "description":"Premium interior lighting without door pocket lights", "value":2, "products":[ "Cybertruck", "Model3", "ModelY", "Poppyseed" ] }, { "codeKey":"PREMIUM_WITH_RGB", "description":"Premium RGB interior lighting", "value":3, "products":[ "Model3", "ModelY", "Cybertruck", "Poppyseed" ] }, { "codeKey":"PREMIUM_WITH_RGB_IP_ONLY", "description":"Premium lighting with instrument panel RGB lighting only", "value":4, "products":[ "Model3", "ModelY", "Cybertruck", "Poppyseed" ] } ]
"Poppyseed" refers to the Model 3 Highland. Lychee and Tamarind are the 2021+ S/X.
Sure seems like the RGB stuff isn't currently planned for the S/X based on the possible configurations. Doesn't mean the RGB stuff for the S/X isn't planned eventually, but I don't think it's imminent since the cybertruck references are there, but not the S/X.
I don't see any references to a front bumper camera at all.
Yeah it refers to the footwell/map lights and the overhead lights. Really it's more applicable to the 3/Y, but Tesla did let some of those configurations that don't make sense apply to the S/X (but I haven't really seen examples of the opposite, where equipment that is present doesn't have a valid configuration entry). That’s a bummer. Got all hyped for nothing What is the non RGB premium lighting then? The footwells/map lights? Does it also appear in older code?
