Just take a check to delivery. I paid online and still don't have my car
Can I just take a regular check? Or does it have to be some special verified check?

Just a regular, personal check, I'm told, made out to 'Tesla Motors Inc' (double check that with your DS)Can I just take a regular check?
Nope. Mine originally said April 6th, then it said March 30th and that's what it still says.it says vehicle to be delivered on or about April 30, 2016. Is that date accurate?

If your check bounces, they know where to find you and can disable your car

Just a regular check. The finance guy will verify it before you leave the premise and EFT it.Can I just take a regular check? Or does it have to be some special verified check?
Not beyond 'this month'Do you have a scheduled delivery date yet?
Don't laugh. When we picked up our car there were two others with the same exterior color and one for sure was the same interior. There may have been some other similarities but I jumped right on the VIN to make sure we were getting the correct car.Me too at the same time. Let make sure we don't get our colors mixed up.
Although I have a buddy who knows a guy (yeah, one of those stories! ;-) ) who refused delivery because there was 70 or so miles on it and he felt like that was too much for a new vehicle. That and that they couldn't explain why his had that many when others there waiting for delivery had much less.In most states, an Odometer reading is required on car sales, including new cars. So they just state 50 miles on the docs to keep it simple. Most likely, it will be less.
When I took delivery of my S P85, it had over 50 miles on it. And the Wh/mi were out of control - the high 1000s. It took a while to get my averages down.. although that first month or two, I was hammering it pretty hard.refused delivery because there was 70 or so miles on it and he felt like that was too much for a new vehicle.

Great News. Just got off the phone with my DS , my Model X (VIN 31xx) is here in Atlanta. P90D, Midnight Silver, Black Onyx 22" rims, Black seats and headliner, Tow Package, Premium interior, Ultra Hi-Fi Sound.... He said that was the first with Black Onyx they had seen in the SC. Everyone came by to take a look. Will be picking up next week. How will I be able to play golf tomorrow. No sleep either. It's going to be a L-O-O-O-N-G seven days. I have to go clean the garage spot.
BTW... the MyTesla page has never changed from estimated April, early May delivery....No actual date was ever posted. So stuff happens even though the web page isn't updated. Keep the faith.
