Model X gets t-boned in FL

Hitting with such velocity/speed behind an ‘immovable object’ (the large battery) would explain where the X would sheer away (rear drive unit and all). Would still rather be in the X than a mini-van or small SUV with such a high speed impact any day of the week.

Not very reassuring that it split the X in half.

But the occupant was pretty much unhurt. Looks like the car did all it was supposed to do .. side air bags deployed, impact energy absorbed by body and doors.

I notice the GT-R had "BYE AMG" plates .. looks like that car will be saying goodbye to everyone now. The driver is lucky he's not in jail awaiting vehicular homicide charges.
