Cheapest, easiest, most common colors? Debate. Why only black and blue paint?
Maybe cheapest but white is pretty common so is MSM now that it’s free.Cheapest, easiest, most common colors? Debate.
My guess, after speaking with a Tesla SA, the White and Black colors are the most popular. I assume Black and Blue were prioritized due to the slightly higher incremental margins (White and MSM not prioritized due to it being a "free" color). If I had to guess, they're next batch will be White/MSM, but who knows when their next batch will start.Maybe cheapest but white is pretty common so is MSM now that it’s free.
I am sure he thought the same thing I did. New block of 31 cars looks like more, until you really look and see they came from first chunk.Yeah, I had a couple minutes and put the photos side by side... that square on the left def got thinned to create the new strings on far right. Just more shenanigans to screw with this thread.... But... where did the 10 go? back inside for sure. But why? or maybe they’re around the corner charging.
Didnt’t stop Roberts from saying the video showed more production.
Yes, exactly. Same approach they used in Germany, and makes total sense.Cars are built in batches, it costs time and money to switch paint colors. Dark colors also show defects the most, so if you want to test and perfect your paint process, you start with the darkest colors.
4680 boost? Increase those margins.Another $1K price increase for MYs. MYLR new base price $59,990.
Definitely not the most common colors. Black is the second most expensive now.Cheapest, easiest, most common colors? Debate.
This 100% matches up with getting a new paint shop dialed in for producing at scale.Cars are built in batches, it costs time and money to switch paint colors. Dark colors also show defects the most, so if you want to test and perfect your paint process, you start with the darkest colors.
As someone beat me to earlier, the whole idea behind 4680 was to reduce manufacturing costs. It’s not related to the battery, but if it was it would be something like the 4680 projections telling them they only need to raise it $1,000 rather than $2,000 or whatever....4680 boost? Increase those margins.
they clear them out at end of every quarter...I saw a number of demo Y's pop up on Discord recently. Making room for demos from Austin soon? Approaching end-of-quarter clear out? A bit of both?

If you have twitter just follow “ Tesla inventory tracker” and turn on notifications for every tweet. They go quick so you have to jump on the immediately. How can I find this?
Keeping it. I‘m trading in my ‘19 M3LR, so I’m just driving down my trade in value by driving. Are you going to keep it or hold for another one?
All model 3s including SR had matrix lights. The MYLR is getting matrix lights here in the states too. It’s not if but when. Don’t see how Texas won’t have it. Hopefully we can get a good picture of the LR outside of Texas to see if it has it
Maybe its the easiest to paint...Cheapest, easiest, most common colors? Debate.
Oh man that’s disappointing. I seems like they’ll be exactly like the Fremont MY until end of year or next year then. Surprised they wouldn’t just standardize the matrix lights. These are $60k cars nowThere are pictures floating around of the YLR sitting outside austin, like even a page or two back from your post. It looks like theyre LR models and have the light colored reflector based led headlights instead of the darker matrix projector headlights on the MYP
I agree for $60k I’m surprised also.Oh man that’s disappointing. I seems like they’ll be exactly like the Fremont MY until end of year or next year then. Surprised they wouldn’t just standardize the matrix lights. These are $60k cars now
