I noticed that the GV60 has a boost button.
Is it similar to the Model 3 Performance Track Mode?
If so, it would more fair to compare the GV60 against the Model 3 Performance.

Track Mode doesnāt give you any more power. It just enables extra battery cooling and finer motor control and removal of nannies. Boost mode in GV60 gives you 10s of extra power and itās an SUV. Model 3 Performance wouldnāt compete with the GV60 as itās a much smaller vehicle.

The MYP was running slow, I wonder what the charge levels were.
GV60 is taller but shorter than the M3P.
What I learnt is the iX M60 - and not the slow variant in this race - would wipe the floor in this drag race. That M60 is beastly but it is more comparable to a Model X Plaid than a GV60.

I'll be doing some BEFORE and AFTER test's with my DRAGY on my new MYP with the OEM's 21s against some 245/50-18s (exact same Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires) I bought from TSportLine.
Curious if the 18s is actually FASTER than the 21s.

Yeah that part of it was planned I'm sure. The video is a glorified Genesis commercial.
I've hit 11.8 in my MYP multiple times. The fact that a "professional" driver only hit 12.3 here is sketchy. Seems like a rigged comparison.
That said... this is another example of why we need track mode. Ridiculous that a Genesis of all cars gets it and we don't.

Regardless of the state of charge in that MYP, it seems that the GV60 is more or less in the same class acceleration-wise. This probably means the Kia EV6 GT and the Hyundai Ionic5 N are going to be faster than the MYP. I wonder if this would mean a more powerful version of the MYP is on the horizon in the next year or two?

I thought the EV6 is marketed as a CUV. Is that actually the case? It seems to get compared more to the MY than the M3. Regardless, I do tend to agree that it's closer to the M3, but it seems to get compared to MY more from what I've seen.
I mean, they could make it faster today if they wanted to. Most speculate that the battery is still only around 70-80% of its realized potential. Not to mention adding track mode.
Can Tesla just release track mode already? It's getting embarrassing at this point that every other performance EV in the segment has it.

I would love an acceleration boost for the MYP, but my guess is that the hardware is pretty maxed out already. I would love to be wrong about that though.
