The PPF talk on the front bumper was paint. q2 cars had the above rear door PPF as standard.I think it is actually proper PPF, as Tesla now sells it as an 'official' accessory on their online store as well.

OP was referring to rear wheel arch ppf in the quote GS was replying to? Which was I believe a new thing in Q2The PPF talk on the front bumper was paint. q2 cars had the above rear door PPF as standard.
You’re correct, Q2 MYs had PPF on the rear door around the front of the wheel arch as you said above. I collected a MY with a friend in June from Staines and it was there.OP was referring to rear wheel arch ppf in the quote GS was replying to? Which was I believe a new thing in Q2
It may have been March cars...my Q1 (reg 31 March) car also has it. It did need to be re-done though for grit and air bubbles at local SC, but flawless since then. You’re correct, Q2 MYs had PPF on the rear door around the front of the wheel arch as you said above. You made the day!!If you are a direct purchase I would contact them.
I’m vin 447 also and have had all the car details for some time now.
They always say it cant be the day before due to the complex logistics. It can take up to 3-4 weeks to deliver a car after unloading from the ship. Its a good 450-500 lorry loads per ship to move around the country. You made the day!!
Did that after your message. Booked for 28th. The TA said cannot be before 27th. Doesn't Seems like Glovis Sunrise to me TBH.
I doubt it, that photo was taken in March when I went with a friend to collect his car. The Red car is not mine, or his, just a random MY that was waiting for its ownerLooking nice.
I’ve got to wait until next week, but that looks like a blue one in the background, maybe it’s mine
Nothing comes up on the link when I input my VIN but another poster has said that 411… is a VIN after reopening. Mine is 405… so wonder whether I’ve got a pre shutdown vehicle with the ‘old’ suspension.Interestingly, it was July builds following the production line shut down that apparently have the change in suspension. Do you know when yours was built?
This link should help. Afaik Glovis Companion is the first ship with post shut down cars.
Tesla factory build date
Check Tesla vin for factory manufactured/build date and associated build codestesla-info.com
Also now have the delivery link - picking up on the 20th at Bluewater! They wrote that my Model 3 was ready for collection instead of the Model Y and then hastily corrected the text. It all seems surprisingly manual..You made the day!!

Let me know how you get on BigBov, I am in similar situation as car was purchased by Zenith. But I will need to get app all sorted with my details etc in double quick time as driving it to Leeds that evening I know it should all be straightforward, but will be interesting to learn if you have any particular advice / tips.Car looks great.
Due to get my Y next week also through Tusker.
Any advice for getting set up on the app as it is company owned rather than personal?
Thanks
Your VIN is before the production line upgraded. As for the suspension, we will find out for sure if it was changed after upgrades shortly when people start getting their Companion cars.Nothing comes up on the link when I input my VIN but another poster has said that 411… is a VIN after reopening. My pick up is on the 13th as well...I also called and was told that they had a list of things to do and the earliest day the car would be 'ready' was the 13th (Manchester pick up)They always say it cant be the day before due to the complex logistics. It can take up to 3-4 weeks to deliver a car after unloading from the ship. Its a good 450-500 lorry loads per ship to move around the country.
My delivery is on the 13th Sep even though the car is currently at Southampton docks (Glovis Companion) and was told it could not be earlier.
No change on the balance yet (it's a US holiday today, so perhaps that adds further delay over this weekend?).Be prepared to see in your account (if all details entered correctly) Monday noon onwards…that’s what happened to me…
Strange. I did a test payment this morning ~9am and appeared within an hour.No change on the balance yet (it's a US holiday today, so perhaps that adds further delay over this weekend?).
Hmm, no surprise, I messed it up, that is why it hasn't appeared yet... (I didn't put the RN number in the transaction description like it clearly says to do).Strange. I did a test payment this morning ~9am and appeared within an hour.
What is the change post upgrade supposed to have done - soften the suspension?Your VIN is before the production line upgraded. As for the suspension, we will find out for sure if it was changed after upgrades shortly when people start getting their Companion cars.
According to reports, yes. Not as firm. We know Berlin has different suspension, it maybe the case that Shanghai is the same, or closer. We will find out in the next week or two if its true, and if its made a difference. What is the change post upgrade supposed to have done - soften the suspension?
