So not the latest 5xx ones but still fairly recent which is a good sign they have not just been sitting in a lot waiting to have tow fitted.

I guess that gives them nearly 3 weeks to make Q3 deliveries, hopefully including mine

Getting a VIN is progress , out of curiosity when did you order and what spec have you gone for?

Well, not necessarily. I had a VIN, it disappeared after a couple other weeks. No further forward.

And the Lydden is now on the way to SFO, due to arrive on Wednesday. No details yet of where it’s going after that though.

Sounds troubling to me, I only got my 'hidden' VIN last week. No idea what comes next, I assume it becomes a 'real' VIN, then I get a phone call to arrange collection and an invoice......is that right?

Or mine just disappears and I go into 'wait/refresh' mode again....

I'm assuming from limited research that Pier 122 is the RORO location, but right now there is no sign of any capable ship nearby.....

I found it all great fun! It gave me a real buzz when I actually found I had a hidden VIN. Admittedly, mine stayed though, I would have been gutted had it disappeared

View the source code for your 'Manage Car' page and search for '5YJ3'. There is a far more descriptive answer somewhere on the forum supporting different browsers and even phone browsers. Good luck....

So- we have the same spec and I ordered in May. My VIN is in the region 4639xx. I just spoke to someone very reasonable at Tesla who told me that my car did not currently have a GPS tag but was last tagged in Philadelphia on the 25th August. He also said that as he understood it those vehicles coming from Philadelphia were coming straight to the UK rather than via mainland Europe.

I have no delivery update but thought that this was interesting and new information. Now I don't know whether my vehicle is still sat in Philadelphia or whether it set sail soon after the 25th and I've seen nobody claim to know which vessels were being used for these crossings either. But at least I now feel that I have half an idea what is going on.

I had previously been told to expect a collection in the second or third week in September so this information ties in with that. I am now expecting to get some sort of update this week, let's see.
