I'm also still waiting to hear back on if the the car actually does have free supercharging included. This was one of two cars, total, listed on the CPO site that DIDNT have Free Supercharging listed as a feature. I've asked my CPO advisor and delivery specialist to confirm that it is included, which they both confirmed, but no one seems to know what to do after that (and I want the cars profile updated to reflect as much). Hoping we get that resolved before pickup. Cant wait!
First, congrats, I hope the car turns out great! I know you and I have talked a little about this as I have the same issue with mine. Looking at ev-cpo, there are a ton of cars without Free Supercharging listed. In fact, I just looked right now, and there are 8 listed for sale without. Of those 8, 6 are 2015 cars (2 P85D, 1 90D, and 3 85D), the other 2 are a 2013 and 2014 60. If you look at archived listings, there are a ton of them, including a range of models.

My CPO SA told me it is included on mine, I've only talked with my DS once when he called a couple weeks ago to let me know the car was going to be shipped. I'm hoping it is, because a 60 without supercharging is a little limited and I may have to change to another CPO or just wait for the 3. I'm willing to pay for supercharging, which I told my CPO SA, so in my case it just depends on if the car has the hardware or not, as far as I could tell, it should be around when they made the hardware standard, but I don't know for sure.

@tcartier, I think we're both in for this week at Tempe though you might get yours before me.. You should since you've been waiting longer.. As others have said the service is better than the sale..

An email arrived from Michael "my DS" this morning stating that we are "tentatively" a go on 8/23 (but he still would not commit to that date) stating he was still waiting for an update from his service team?? They're in the same building for heavens sake!! why not just walk over and ask the service manager where it stands!!

It may have been able to be scheduled sooner, but the 23rd was requested by me due to my own schedule as a preferred delivery date. The fact that I will be off work, and in town for several days after that will give me some time to get acclimated to the car, set it up on my home wifi, get it on my XM subscription, get the windows tinted etc. etc.

If the 23rd holds it will have been 56 days from deposit 6/29/17 to delivery 8/23/17 ... 8 weeks in all. "Fingers STILL crossed"

Your order form has everything your car comes with, including if it comes with super charging. It may not show if it has some accessories like a center console.

I'm not sure I believe that. Again, there are a lot of vehicles in the archive of ev-cpo that list no supercharging when they in fact should have it. Same with currently for sale CPOs. There have been plenty of stories here of people having options on their CPO that were not listed as well, examples are usually of the dual charger variety that I can think of off-hand. But all that just shows they don't do a great job of listing the options on the vehicle when they list them. As I have said, my CPO SA says it has supercharging, I just feel like I won't know for sure until I get it though.

Haha, yes it would seem like a quick walk to find out. Nice you'll get to enjoy the car for a few days.
I received a mail stating leaving Palm Springs in the next few days when I thought it was here already. Its getting closer.

I have a DATE!!! Wait...no, not that kind of date, my wife won't let me go on dates anymore!
I have a date to pick up my car!! I won't itemize each event, mainly because I'm not that meticulous, but also because I'm lazy!
But after about a week of confusion on both my and Tesla website part, on
7/8 I got my deposit transferred to my preferred car.
8/17/ at 11:30 I'll get to pick it up.
It still doesn't quite feel real and I probably won't get too excited until I'm just moments away from the Tesla center! It seems to be all coming together now!
Okay, today I realized that on Thursday, I could be required to serve for jury duty. Somethings opened up and called my DS and asked if there was any way to get me in tomorrow! He worked a few thing and got me in! I'm getting my car tomorrow.

I have to admit, I've seen some horrible experiences on here and I have to admit mine must be an exception. Brent and Jeffery have been amazing to work with! I'll post pics and describe my experience when I can!

Had an interesting call/update on my CPO process
Quick recap (since I hadn't done one earlier)

07/10 : Placed CPO order ($40K; 60 with 42K miles; 19" Black with Tan Interior; Smart Suspension & Tech)
Got the usual emails and such -- Given 6-8 weeks timeline
07/14 : Finished 6/6 tasks on MyTesla and got financing approved. (Actually had it approved the prior week but I made a mistake on a call and had to get it again)
Got CarFax and was surprised that it was registered in Florida (Tesla showed it as being in San Francisco). Email exchanged confirmed the location and the fact that it was in the process of being shipped to California for restoration.

As with some of the people here, communication has been spotty and I was getting worried/anxious every day that passed -- since my financing was good until the 28th.

Last night, due to a post that I read on TMC (I believe), I started looking on Autotrader and saw a couple of cars listed by Tesla (Fremont and another California location). One of them was for $ 38,400, but had no details listed. I decided to take a chance and see what it had (knowing that it was, at the very least, a 60).

After getting an email this morning saying that the car wasn't available anymore, I got a call from Yolanda around 1pm. Not only was the car still available and at Fremont, it would just need to have transportation arranged to Vegas with the team here to do the detailing. After talking to her and talking to the wife (always important), I switched my reservation over... and was able to have the $1K deposit moved as well.

So now, I should be getting a 2013 60 with 60K miles; 21" Grey with Black Interior; Standard Suspension; Panoramic Roof, Tech Package, Sound Studio and Dual Chargers... for $ 1,600 less. Wow...

Car is in Vegas -- Scheduled delivery appointment is Friday afternoon. They had originally planned for Saturday, but my schedule wouldn't have allowed it. As of this afternoon, My Tesla has not been updated yet (since has both the old and new reservations), so I can't quite complete the financing.... but hopefully should be able to complete this tomorrow or Thursday morning.

Trust your CPO Advisor. If they super charging is included, it will be.

Mine didn't show with it on the site, or in the PDF for the "View specs" while I was awaiting delivery. My CPO A assured me it did.

Now that I have taken delivery when I log into My Tesla I see this:

7/1 : Deposit placed for S85
7/1 : Received automated "Let's complete your order" email
7/1 : Received automated "Thank you for your order" email with PDFs attached
7/1 : Received email from sales adviser. Email indicated they would call the next day (Sunday) and that I should hold of on financing
7/1 : Responded to sales adviser indicating I looked forward to the call the next day and that the PDF sent via automated email had the incorrect price listed.
7/2 : Sales adviser called. Discussed the following: 4-6 weeks for delivery of car is expected, ask was prior to Aug 10th (5.5 weeks); Discussed incorrect price listed in PDF, Sales adviser will enter a request in the system to resolve discrepancy; Process: 200+ point inspection, Week 1/2: nothing will occur, Week 3/4: Inspection completed along with any service items, Week 5/6: Cosmetic issues address, End of Week 6: Delivery; Completion of items on Tesla website; Q&A Session
7/2 : Received email from sales adviser. Email replicated much of the phone conversation. Email documented the ask for delivery prior to Aug 10th. "Tesla Post Order Packet PDF" attached
7/7 : Sent an email to Sales adviser - Asked if the Inspection Report can be sent when complete; Asked if pictures of car could be sent; Asked if the car has 3G or LTE; Other misc questions
7/7 : Received automated email that SA is OOO until 7/11
7/11 : Sent an email to SA with an additional question - how long the delivery would take?
7/11 : Received emails from SA - Inspection report will be provided at delivery as it will not be completed until then; Will inquire with SC to take pictures but after the car is back from vendors (it's already at a vendor?!?!); 3G not LTE (can install LTE prior to delivery for ~$500)
7/14 : Sent an email to SA - Provided a response on 3G vs LTE; Inquired on the status of the car, price adjustment and pictures
7/18: Tried calling SA.
7/19: Called SA. Price discrepancy resolved. Car has not started the inspection process so the process is already behind schedule. Sounds like there will be increased capacity for processing CPOs starting this week so the hopefully it moves forward soon (with high quality). We plan to discuss the current status on 7/25.
7/25: SA had indicated that if I had not heard from them by noon on the 25th to reach out to them. I got a hold of SA in the afternoon as I had not heard from them at noon and there was a long pause after asking about the current status. Instant feeling of being let down. After the pause (looking up information) the SA indicated that they needed to discuss the status with their manager which I was perplexed by. I interpreted this to mean that the car still had not moved an inch in three and half weeks. SA indicated that they would give me a call back once the discussion was over. I had not heard back at ~5:45PM so gave SA a call on drive home from work. SA confirmed that the car had not processed at all. Reason for this is the large number of CPOs being processed (that were purchased the first two weeks in June and are still being processed?) and an underestimation of how long they would take to process. It sounds like all of the cars are actually being transferred to a new facility and that they are bringing on new techs to handle the increased workload. I'm torn on if this is a good thing or not, not sure if all of the issues will be found and correctly addressed prior to delivery. It also sounds like the regional service manager is in town to help accelerate the process (and probably other things). SA indicated that a delivery within 6 weeks is likely not going to happen and that 7 weeks is more realistic at this point. I was honestly thinking that this is probably an optimistic statement but then the SA then followed up with comments that delivery by the 9th may in fact still be possible though we would not know until the last minute. What a roller coaster. SA recommended that we reconnect on August 2nd which seems like forever away.
7/27: Sent text in the morning to SA to check on status of car and follow up on prior discussions around combining accounts (accidentally formatted my email address differently when I placed deposit versus what I used for model 3 reservations.) Got a follow up call in the afternoon indicating the car has not started, however, the techs will be working overtime this weekend and she has requested that they start looking at the car this weekend. (SA can not help with combining accounts, I sent corporate an email to see what can be done.) It looks like the car needs to already be in mint condition if I am going to get it by the end of 6 weeks.
7/28: Recalled that I had noticed that the listing of items below tech package were missing from the MyTesla information. Sent a message to SA in the morning to see if they could provide that information. SA call back this evening indicating they did not have a good way to look up this information and that the information in this list can be wrong (sounds like it is common for listing to say folding mirrors and for the car to not have them). The original sticker does show the car having parking sensors. No update on the status of the car in the process. SA will be checking on the car tomorrow.
7/30: SA did not provide an update of where the car stands on 7/29 as we had discussed. Will have to wait until 8/1 for an update.
8/1: Spoke to SA. They went and got the car from the from other location and brought it to their location so that it could be inspected (a full month after the deposit was placed). Car has significant paint damage. Timeline is shot due how long the repaint will take. Discussed some alternatives.
8/2: Spoke to SA to better understand timeline and options. Car will also need a new drive unit and probably new tires.
8/3: Spoke to SA. Going to continue with the car but they expect that it will be another 4 weeks or so which puts it a total of 9 weeks versus the original 4-6 week estimate. Most of the time will be spent at the body shop as most of the car needs repainted. Car was taken to body shop first thing this morning. Received an email that the final paperwork is available on MyTesla. There is now a Make a Payment option on MyTesla and Tasks Complete changed from 4/4 to 2/2.
8/15: Reached out to SA in the morning as I had not received the weekly update (no word since 8/3). Played phone tag until the evening. Sounds like the car is due back from the body shop in the next day or so. If the body shop got everything done satisfactorily and all of the parts were shipped the car should be ready for pick up next week! We discussed that we should chat on 8/17 to see if we can set a delivery date in stone.

Chargeshare, your experience sounds similar to mine. I think a big part of the problem is that Tesla does not have a good idea of what kind of work will need to be done to recertify the cars prior to buying them back. This makes for a large range in timing, especially when much of the work appears to be body work that occurs at outside vendors.

Tesla appears to be a dynamic company and I think they will learn from this. It's hard to go from a technology company, to a car company, and then ultimately a used car sales company (as so many of their cars come back through them) and we are experiencing the growing pains along with them. From talk on other threads, Tesla appears to have scales back on the CPO inventory listed on the site, so perhaps these cars are being refurbished and recertified before being offered for sale. That would help immensely with time between reservation and delivery/sale.

I also reserved an S85 on 7/1 and I don't have a date or a date range for delivery. I am hoping it comes in before the Labor day weekend and before my financing offer runs out...

In an interesting twist/development --- my original CPO selection is now back up for sale (per the EV-CPO.com site)... not showing up on Tesla's search page.

What's interesting is that, when I originally selected it ( 5 1/2 weeks ago), the location was in San Francisco; which was fine since it would mean no transportation fee. However, once we started the process, I found out that it was actually in Florida and was going to be shipped to California for restoration. Ok... odd -- but I wasn't worried at first.
As the weeks past, I was told that it was shipped and being worked on ... but that was it.

On the Tesla site for this re-listing, it shows the location as Florida. So, I wonder if it never went to California and just stayed in Florida the entire time.

My guess is that anyone who picks it (60; 42,742 miles; 2 year CPO warranty; Black with Tan Leather; 19"; Active Air & Tech Package) should be able to take delivery rather quickly; assuming that the majority of the restoration work was completed.

I'm not sure I believe that. Again, there are a lot of vehicles in the archive of ev-cpo that list no supercharging when they in fact should have it. Same with currently for sale CPOs. As I have said, my CPO SA says it has supercharging, I just feel like I won't know for sure until I get it though.

I'm wondering if when a car makes it to the CPO process, if the possibly default to the original order form of the car via the VIN for the website posting, but if the buyer added/changed options post original, maybe that's when it doesn't show? Mine had everything it listed on the "MyTeslaDesign" PDF that my DM sent me when I put the deposit down. It looks just like the form does when you buy new.

In my case I do think the primary issue for the l is that it took them 4 weeks to even start looking at the car, for reasons unknown to me. The SA said that they actually pulled the car to a different location because the other was not getting the job done. I feel that this was only because of the fact that I proactively reached out to the SA at the time they agreed to provide an update but no less than once a week.

That's a huge bummer, and a logistical quagmire. It's frustrating to feel like your purchase isn't a priority for the company. I'm trying to be proactive as well, but like you, it's tough to play phone or email tag and get prompt responses. Even when there are updates, they feel like non-updates because nothing has changed. From the SA perspective that's tough, I am sure they don't want to tell people that nothing is happening behind the curtain. I'm glad your SA had your car moved to make things go faster.

It's good to vent here, and to know others have similar stories, but I am buoyed by the fact that most people are extremely satisfied at delivery. Keep us posted, and I'll surely do the same.

8/17: Flights for next week are getting pricey! Exchanged a few text and a phone call with the SA today and it sounds like the car SHOULD be ready for delivery next week but they have not done a post body shop inspection to make the final call. I'm not booking a flight until they are certain so if the prices increase overnight I'm probably not getting the car next week.

@Don TLR Did you get locked in for next week? Seems I've had a breakthrough !! DS called and emailed me more today than he has in the last 8 weeks combined! He wants to finalize the paperwork and deliver the car on the 23rd. Seems once the finish line is in sight, Tesla wants to use warp drive to get across it, as opposed to using it over the past 2 months to get to the last lap. Now it seems like a "rush" to push the thing out the door. Not complaining mind you, but would have liked to have seen more of this level of effort on their part earlier in the process.

What kind of humming is it?

I have this really weird "humm" too, that worries me every time I hear it because it sounds like someone is passing you honking a horn but a ways down so its very low. I noticed it happens when I accelerate sometimes from almost stop or let go of the petal and it starts to slow down, already at a slower speed.

So I have two sounds... there is a humming that is most noticeable between 30-35mph. If kept at constant speed with no music, it's a constant humming electrical sound. The other sound I get that I think is what your describing is a spooling sound on acceleration or deceleration. The SC says they're both fine. The motor seems to run fine so crossing my fingers.
