October 2021 Order Delivery Dates

Doesn't make sense to me. June 2022 was most number of cars made worldwide by Tesla. June 2022 also end of quarter push. Now employees worked so hard they get a little break. We're in the middle of July and I've seen almost no Model Y VINs in the places I look. Are they retooling? Did they give up making cars? Do they make cars for 3 weeks before assigning VINs? What is going on?

Fremont might have one week break before, and from last week the production is back to normal, I can see the production is not as crazy as June, but still better than before, so I think it should be good from the production side.

Just an update of EDD, got 2 weeks boost to Sep 22 - Nov 03.

Yes, I got my VIN assigned yesterday, build from Fremont factory with 498 series. MYLR 19’ white/white Tow, no FSD. I was notified by email (no txt msg). I was busy shopping yesterday for Tesla accessories on Amazon Prime Day.

Had my first 2 week window pushed out to 4 weeks.

7/19-8/2 pushed to 7/28-8/25

My initial EDD was February which got pushed to March then April then May then June jail. Got the 2 week window last week and now it’s gone.

Ordered 10/25/21 Virginia. After 8.5 months of waiting, there’s a strong possibility the Tesla delivery window is going to overlap my 8 day vacation.

I had originally ordered an LR. EDD got pushed all the way to October towards the end of June. Upgraded to performance and got an EDD of July 28 after about a week and then it got bumped to July 21-Aug 4 after about another week.

That being said, still no VIN so who knows.

Delivery date just got pushed to July 31-Aug 4. I’m out of the country on Aug 1 of course. But I have a VIN. Hopefully this doesn’t blow up.

With an October order, switching to MYP should get you a car within a couple weeks.
Adding EAP is an unknown...I've yet to read any reports of it helping.
Adding FSD is accelerating older orders like yours. It is not helping newer order. Seems maybe Sept-Dec orders can be accelerated by FSD but 2022 orders can't.
