I totally agree they should assign the VIN to the next person(s) inline or atleast reach out and ask if the person(s) are interested but it looks like once the car is onsite tesla doesn't want it to sit on the lot for another minute and just wants anyone to pick it up which may be understandable during EOQ push but other than that not fair to other people in Queue. Definitely another case of Tesla's awful customer service.Still, there's no way he/she was next in line and that config of MSM and MYLR have been selling like hot cakes and orders as far back as Aug are pending.
how are you looking through source code?I GOT A VIN!! Was literally just looking through the source code when I got a text, and now it’s there!
NF433, EDD is now 5/11-5/15!
@Chris.Yang - I'm in the same boat as you guys!....BK pick up and my EDD is 5/5-6/2I’m with you… Same configuration, what’s your most recent EDD?
Just say NO. Even if you want to see their offer, just say No and you can add the trade in after you get a VIN.I just got the trade in text from Tesla. I have heard that they are lower than other places but I’m all for accepting a lower offer if it helps me get the Y faster.. any proof that trading in speeds things up or slows it down?
Goto the web page where you see the EDD,, right click and select view page source.. it will open another tab with the source code for the page. Then search for the following..... "vin":how are you looking through source code?
Please show
Also going with Carrier direct......Blue one will be in Kisco tomorrow, but the white one won't be there til next week.I’m interested in how your delivery process plays out…although I opted for Carrier Direct, I’m willing to change if it’s available when I’m off work. Keep us posted, and so happy for you!
I updated my signature EDD: 5 / 11 ~ 6 / 8@Chris.Yang - I'm in the same boat as you guys!....BK pick up and my EDD is 5/5-6/2
It seems that there are a large number of model y deliveries in Brooklyn, New York City from May to June, right?I’m with you… Same configuration, what’s your most recent EDD?
Let us know how it goes…you deserve a twofer deal also. Wish they’d put them all on the same carrier and bring them upstate all together…next week sounds good to meAlso going with Carrier direct......Blue one will be in Kisco tomorrow, but the white one won't be there til next week.
They contacted on 2 different numbers at first. This is one.Do you mind sharing the text number that i can reach Tesla?
Thanks
I will give it a try. They contacted on 2 different numbers at first. This is one.
+1 (510) 399-2764. I’m not sure how Tesla routes the text messages. If this only goes to my local store or if it uses your area code then routes you.
CASHis everyone here financing? Anyone leasing?
Haha maybe! I’m not sure how it all works or even what kind of truck they use but it’d be smart to put them both on the same truck! And yes delivery center = Mt Kisco“delivery center” = Mt. Kisco, correct?
I hope it works out for you, but I can’t help thinking that if they gotta line up more than one Carrier delivery, they’ll expedite mine to get a “two-fer” deal from the 3rd party Carrier (Hope that doesn’t slow your delivery down).
Good luck!
