I've been having issues with my charging as well with the following happening:
- My smart charging schedule doesn't appear to be registering any more in the Octopus App.
- A few evenings running, after clicking in and out of the Octopus app, I notice that in the "charge added" now shows as -0kwh". I've never seen a minus before?!
- My pen fault detection box trips out powering down my charger. This appears to happen if I got into the Octopus app a lot (although could be coincidence)
- If I reset my pen fault device the Tesla app doesn't show the correct change rate on the car (normally 32A). To reset it I have to unplug the car and re plug it in. Not something I'm willing to do in the middle of the night!
To get around this, I've been scheduling the car to charge via the Tesla app and have been staying out of the Octopus app completely. That seemed to work last night as the car actually charged for the first time in a few days.
I'm assuming there is an issue with Octopus rather than me as it's been working fine since last November and has only just started to play up. The tripping of the pen fault is a pain in the backside if I'm honest as if it does go in the middle of the night, I can't really get up and reset it all without waking the house up.
