Took delivery yesterday. I didn't take very good photos. Sorry.
90D. Plain white. Vegan interior. Premium Lighting & Autopilot only.

Installed our HPWC yesterday. It took almost all day because we had to run conduit over the garage, move the garage door supports to clear the conduit and spend 2 hours at Lowes buying all the pieces. Total cost was about $250 in parts + the HPWC ($550+tax). We could have just installed it on the back side of the breaker panel, but we wanted to put it on the column in the garage so it would be easy to plug in a Model 3 or another S in the future.

Delivery at the Las Vegas store was quick and easy. Normal swag, 2 keyfobs holders, cool crayons for the kids, 2 umbrellas, and a nice coffee cup (which was unfortunately damaged, will ask to swap it on next visit), and 2 hats which they gave to us when we placed our order.

I was a little worried the car may have only had the older 40amp charger because the HPWC at the store showed the car charging at 40 amps, but my new charger put out the full 48amps I set it up to do. HPWC is actually very easy to install except for the headache of the shopping, conduit measuring, bending, etc.

Picked up our new P90DL Titanium with all the trimmings. Had an incredible experience that really was different than most. It is a small world story that has a great ending.

The small world story is we had a home in Maui for many years. There was an incredible little restaurant there that served ribs that were world famous - the place was called Azeka's. To the sadness of many of us on the island, it closed in 2006. Fast forward about a decade - My wife and I were business coaches at ASU, and one of the students was a guy named Brian Azeka, and he had just started a Kickstarter project to make and sell the incredible rib sauce. We became one of his top funders (and received lots of sauce and a BBQ at our home in return).

Fast forward to April of this year, when I ordered the vehicle. I get an email from my Delivery Experience Specialist - BRYAN AZEKA. We exchanged emails several times, and then I go to pick up the car. It was a wonderful experience the car was beautiful. They walked me through the operation, provided some cool Tesla gear, and then Brian told us he had something special for us. Once the delivery was complete, he presented us with an entire Hawaiian plate lunch to go. Now that in my mind is over the top customer service! Famous Azeka ribs rice and macaroni salad (this is typically how this meal is served in Hawaii). Anyway, here is the car...and the ribs. If you are interested in the sauce - check out the Azeka Sauce page. You won't be disappointed.

What size breaker and wire did you end up going with for the 48amp setup? And what dip switch settings did you use?

Picked up my S70 yesterday from the factory. Took the factory tour... highly recommended! I decided I didn't want to pay a whole lot extra for the other colors, so I went for a black-and-white theme... light grey interior and dark ash trim to match the white exterior with black pano. Now I just need an accent color somewhere and I'm good to go.

I was a bit disappointed at first that the black headliner is now a free install and doesn't require the premium package, since I was afraid the headliner color being off-white would clash with the grey seats, but in person it looks great.

Really my only complaint about the car comes in the way of sound. I didn't do premium audio because it's an absurd price to pay for a subwoofer. However, the sound system is fairly lacking; the GPS navigation audio doesn't get loud enough to be heard over wind noise when the roof/windows are wide open and the music is otherwise on, and the sound system when playing music definitely has no "punch" to speak of. Nothing a small upgrade won't fix!

Anyway, here she is:

Picked up mine 2 weeks ago. Wifey and I wanted a 2016 with the old nose cone. Her friend got us a test drive - I had a stupid grin the entire time. We settled on looking for a showroom model to save some extra money. Used my wifey's friend for the referral credit too.

Lost the first car after waiting for loan approval from my credit union. They ended giving us crappy terms, so we applied with Alliant. Our ownership advisor found another car, but while filling out the purchase info it got sold! Other alternatives were presented but we started to feel desperate, but our advisor pulled through and found a gem in the desert.

Got a one way rental and picked up a S90D. Delivery specialist was great, had to laugh at the gift bow on top of the windshield. Anyways we were given a goodie bag with a coffee mug and umbrella. No complaints so far!

Hey all! Perused the forum a bit these last few days, and seems like a really great bunch of people here. Anyway, I think I'm in the right place to start... I ordered a new Model S 60D last week, Black Obsidian with carbon fiber trim (I'm actually still currently torn on Obsidian or Solid Black, and carbon fiber or glossy obeche, have till Sunday to make up my mind) and every option except for rear facing seats and dual charging. Regarding the premium sound system addressed above, my sales rep informed me the difference was much more than a subwoofer--standard system is a 7 speaker, 200 watt system, premium is a 12 speaker including sub, 480 watt system. After it passed my simple test of being able to turn up loud enough that it both still sounded great while hurting my ears, and the ability to turn it up more past that, sold me on it.

As for financing, I went with Alliant, as they're practically giving away free money at 1.74% for 78 months. I mean jeez, I can get over 2% return on a Kasasa checking account. They did make me go 80/20 LTV which was a punch in the gut and in stark contrast from the 5% down picture the Tesla sales reps were painting me. My credit's good, but they were penalizing me because I haven't financed this much for a car in the past. Oh well..

I look forward to being a part of the community and sharing my experiences. Also, any help with my aforementioned color and trim dilemma is highly appreciated. And no, blue is not the answer. lol

Thanks all, talk soon.

I used a 60amp breaker which is what the manual recommends. I think my Dip switch is set to 8 or 9 and "normal" mode not "legacy". The manual was very clear on which settings to use so as long as you install it correctly you shouldn't have problems. I used #2 THWN wire. Good luck.

This past Thursday was delivery day round 2. Second Model S in six months. Couldn't be happier with the upgrade though!!! Part of me misses the Sig Red P85 but this car is on a whole other level now. She's one sexy fully loaded 90D.

Delivery two days ago.
My car is a great example of how to treat customers.
I ordered my Model S early April (old grille design, old price list). 5 days later I got an email from Tesla telling me that my order had been upgraded to the new design and lights "at no cost to you". No change in delivery date.
In the past two days I'm thrilled, apart from a tunein radio problem, it's fantastic.
