The Cruise accident where it dragged a person to me is proof that current hardware will never be FSD. Supervised FSD yes. Maybe can squeeze it out on freeways. But without being able to sense what is at the front bumper, it will be very very difficult to obtain FSD on current hardware. Need a front camera or other mechanism to know if dragging someone. What do you think?

Sorry , can you point me to a previous discussion?

Enjoy. It's about 600 pages long, and the topic pops up regularly. I'm fairly certain that it shows up elsewhere, because it's a favorite flog on Elon and a point of defense for his supporters.

Terrible poll:
L2: Yes
L3: Yes in ODD
L4: Probably not but a small chance maybe
L5: Near 0 chance
The term “full self driving” as the public expects it to mean would be Level 4 and up. As in zero attention or potential intervention needed at all, you can sleep in the car and it will take you from home to work across city streets, highways and park in a parking lot.
