I was talking to a sales rep and he mentioned that they are expecting a price increase at the end of this quarter (September end) Anyone else heard something similar?

Maybe the S/X refresh is finally here! Plaid should come with an increase.
I could see Tesla playing pricing games to offset Osborne.
Sales reps have zero insight when it comes to the company roadmap.
I’m giving this a big thumbs down.
Classic sales tactic. “Better buy now cuz the price is going up tomorrow!” Unless Elon tweets it I don’t believe it...and even then, maybe not.

I would think that a price increase is in the cards for the Model S & X, assuming the release of the 'Plaid mode" iteration of each. Increases in the Model Y and 3, IHMO, are unlikely at least for now, as this new tech will be going towards the S, X (plaid iterations), Semi, and CyberTruck and then roadster.
All this said, we know how much prices of Tesla seem to change with regularity. If you can afford to and want a Tesla, buy one. There really is no "wrong" time.

Heard the same, aparan is not kidding. Tesla rep is saying that pricing might increase due to RWD Model Y
Model Y RWD LR = $48,000
Model Y AWD LR = $52,000
Model Y Performance = $59,990 (same price)
Even with battery day, Model 3 and Model Y longer battery wouldn’t be till end of 2021. Only X, S and Roadster, maybe the cyber truck Tri motor.

It’s all assumption . I’d rather take the Tesla Rep word tho, until Tesla announces until then we can get accurate information.
