Definitely. I’d pay a bit for satellite maps and traffic visualisation, but don’t care about the other things. A tenner a month is a bit much for what I’d use.

Hang on a sec, basic navigation isn’t part of the premium connectivity package, this was included in the base SR+. Something fishy here.

There's nothing fishy - you still get basic navigation. You just don't get traffic.

That would be nice but it's obvious why they might not want to do it - some proportion of those willing to pay the full £10 would end up spinning down to the middle option. There's typically a calculation which monitors whether they are better off losing a few people who pay nothing vs. the people who pay the £10

It does take into account any traffic conditions when calculating but it won't show it on the map, however tethering a phone as a hotspot will then enable the traffic and satellite maps display

Does the hotspot allow wifi whilst driving (I've not tried)? Normally the car switches to LTE when you put it in drive so I presumed this would preclude using a phone hotspot on the move.

Yeah, mine was in mid November.

I believe the £10 a month is more to do with giving your car a data allowance (unlimited?), so that you can stream the music, YouTube etc and the traffic/satalite bits are the extras that comes with this upgrade.

No it won't. Its the two options that wont work via wifi.

That would be nice as I'm the same nothing showing yet, but I doubt it I was early nov collection.

I have noticed my other upgrade options , heated seats FSD, have disappeared!

It still takes account of the traffic, it just doesn't show it, I had my sr+ Nov and started with no premium connectivity.
