Production Halt on Model Y?

Welp, if that really is the case, then I'm moving on to another brand. Their production and distribution paradigm is amateur hour.

You do realize all auto manufacturers are having production issues right now correct? There is a global parts shortage.

My advisor told me in March that the first 2 months of production each quarter are designated for orders outside the US. The third month of the quarter is when they concentrate on fulfilling US orders.

Tesla focuses on export first month, east coast 2nd~3rd month and west coast end of 3rd month of each quarter.

That doesn't match what is happening here. Deliveries are much less than they were the last 3 weeks of March but still arriving last week. There were three new Model Y's I saw on Saturday that came in on Friday. One of them was an exact match to what I ordered but was destined for another customer. The TSC where we pick up is only 3 miles from my house and I drive by it daily. I see the activity. There were also a couple Model 3's that came in for customer orders last week.
I think your advisor is blowing smoke. Time to find a new one.

Ordered MYP black over white on 4/8 and was originally given 4/27-5/27. It changed yesterday to June 1-June 30. Maybe I'll get the proposed tax benefit after all lol

My delivery estimate was just updated this morning from 5/20-6/9 to 4/26-5/14. Ordered red/white/7 seater config on 3/30.

If it makes you feel any better - I ordered a Jeep Wrangler in December and I'm still waiting delivery. The whole supply chain is struggling.

Take this for what it's worth, but I just got off of the phone with my SA and he stated that Tesla has officially issued a production halt on the Model Y. He went on to say that this likely means that NONE will be delivered in April. Has anyone else heard something similar?

Mine is set for delivery 4/30

I ordered a Model Y, dual motor, white on white, 19" wheels and tow package on 3/22. The original delivery window was 4/20 - 5/1. It has been moved almost every day and now is 5/1-5/20.

Stay vigilant!

All I wanted to do was get in and test drive it! Given before I ordered, I only test drove the Long Range and it never dawned on me to test drive the Performance I ended up ordering.
