Do you guys have a list of things you have to check please? I’m picking up mine on Monday

Ok and does the app work straight away to report issues? Where do you report them? Obviously mine isn’t activated on the app yet picking up Saturday

To be clear. This is not an official Tesla app. it does not auto-log issues. No one at Tesla is forcing you to check anything. Its just good practise

The app contains a long list of things yoiu might want to check on receipt of your new Tesla. If you find an issue on-site just walk over to the staff and say "I found this thing.." and they come back with you to check. if you find something later on you log it in the official Tesla phone app connected to your car. Any questions just grab the guys at the delivery site and they look after you ✌️

Collection tomorrow. I booked my collection a few days ago via web chat. Did anyone get a confirmation text? The app shows collection tomorrow, not sure if I should be worried. I want nothing to ruin the excitement. I hope the car it there!
 
Picked up from Trafford Manchester today. 560 batch MYLR. No USS, no new cameras, no new back seat. 3 pin & type 2.
Car appears perfect but wasn’t clean outside. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since Shanghai. They said they were delivering 130 cars a day. I’d rather it came dusty than scratched up, so no big issue.

Trafford pick up has moved since last year. They actually came out and inspected my M3 trade in, checking all charging cables were there too. Staff were friendly and it was quick and smooth.

Ride is definitely improved over the demo from Q2 I tried. Averaged 256wh/m back to Chester on the motorway! That’s brilliant at these temperatures. Had 52% SOC and software 40.4.2

First impressions are a worthy upgrade over the M3 SR+

Seems we have same taste in cars. Wife has Mini Electric same as on your drive, and I’m picking up the exact same MY as yourself on the 15th.
 
Collected mine from Bluewater this evening. All went smooth. Car clean on the inside, slightly dirty on the outside.

Need to spend some time tomorrow during daylight to give the car a proper inspection. Unfortunately I already discovered some swirl marks. The SA said I have a week or 100 miles to report any damage.

Two things took me by surprise: not only is the car fast, but it handles surprisingly well. Reacts very swift to any control input and feels like the car is glued to the ground (guess that’s a mixture of heavy car with low centre of gravity and all wheel drive)

Also didn’t realise that the side mirrors auto-dim!

Overall quite happy. A lot to learn and play around with.

That touch screen is not very child friendly. My son already set out on a mission to randomly change settings before demanding to watch peppa pig…. I prob should get a screen protector

Exactly! And try to report any issues that were not discussed on the day within a few days and before too many miles to avoid being blamed for any chips or scatches.

We have similar carpets but also monogrammed with her name.
A chap parked by mine this morning. He collected three days ago. I immediately noticed front nearside rash- on-black. He had not noticed it before and was aghast! Apparently, it must have been bis wife😂.

Our Gemini’s remain, currently, mercifully rash-free.

Though now I’ve said it I expect to scrape them soon, obviously. Which then gives Mrs U permission to scrape them as well (the “You did it first!” defence)

We are very pleased with the articulated trunk liner and the sub trunk and front trunk matts. A real boon are the mats to protect the backs of the second row. Be sure to buy a three piece set. They not only protect the seat backs when they are down for max loading but also when the seats are up and have luggage pressed up against them.

For the flight deck we like the less utility plushness of the carpet mats. So far no dirty boot issues.

Picked up this morning. Overall very impressed with build quality, waited about 20 minutes for others in front of myself also collecting, did a quick walk around, several scratches on passenger door around the handle and one very deep scratch on rear bumper, you can see smaller scratches were it looked like someone tried to buff it out with a dirty cloth. Will be logging a service appointment to fix both, otherwise no USS and not sure about cameras. Interior was mostly clean with a few water marks.
