Grain of salt. This "advisors" are obviously well versed in the art of bullshitting but, we shall see. I have seen so many different answers it's really starting to aggravate the *sugar* out of me.
Normally I’d agree because I’ve heard different things from different advisors. But the VINs coming through in the spreadsheet this week lines up with the one advisor I trust and who knows my order / purchase date etc. What he told me on Friday seems to be correct based on the data.

Not here, but I doubt being performance has any effect on your delivery timeline - given that the only difference is the software setup.
And brakes, suspension, wheels, binned motors/inverters (maybe?).

What are the odds of waiting 10 weeks for an early December delivery and then Tesla runs special incentives the last two weeks?
I think demand is way up right now before the end of the federal tax credit. But I bet they do some sort of small incentive for the remainder of the inventory.

What makes you think the performance is just a software upgrade? They have different inverters along with a bunch of other hardware differences.
and the actual tesla estimates on the website are even different between the AWD and performance..
people trying to make themselves feel better by saying its software ..

You caught me. Trying to make myself feel better...

I got it by reading the forums. The drive train is the same. I guess wheels, springs, brakes are different, but same engine and major components. Not going to argue that in this thread, though.

Ordered 10/9, added FSD 10/15
White on White LR
18”
FSD
Dallas, TX

and today I received this email from a Las Vegas delivery support specialist:

Congratulations, your Model 3 order has been matched to a vehicle and is now tentatively scheduled for delivery. This date is subject to change based on profile and payment completion.

VIN: 5YJ3E1EB3LF525xxx

Nothing on my account page changed. Still says Estimated Delivery: within 2 weeks from order placed date.

Should I get excited, or is this normal, and I still have weeks and weeks to go...
