Took delivery on Tesla Y on Dec 17 with a $3750 rebate and now rebate in $7500 for deliveries Dec 21-31. Tesla should refund the additional $3750! Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
Doubt it. Just like how late Nov buyers didn't get a piece of the $3750, doubt Tesla will give you the additional rebate. The goal for them is to push end of the year numbers and likely to entice those that are holding out until 2023 to commit and take delivery now.
NO
Just like Nov 30th didn't get $3750
Just like Dec 14th didn't get 10K miles
Just like every other price increase where people can't go back in time.
P.S. There's lots of complaining online, customer service was nasty and said "you didn't buy a shirt" and hung up on me. Not good for the brand. And yes, you are all correct, there is no going back.

I think what they’re saying is you bought a car and signed a contract for the price. It’s not like buying a shirt where you can return it later if the price changes or you don’t like it.
I think they meant to say, buying a Tesla is not like buying a shirt. Frankly it’s no different than buying from any other car manufacturer where incentives vary from month to month and can change with little/no notice
For those of us who have been watching Tesla for years, these end-of-quarter sales are well known. Now that demand is getting back to something more normal, I expect to see these more often.
