I was in a class all day today. On a break I opened up the Tesla web page to check my EDD (which is bookmarked to the MY existing inventory page), and saw a MYP MSM black interior available in local inventory. I thought it over...I originally wanted MSM before I changed my order to the MYP. I refreshed again and it was still there. I clicked view details, expecting it to vanish but nope, still there. I checked my EDD and saw no change, then went back to the inventory: MYP MSM still there. So I bought it.

I got a call 5 minutes or so after I submitted all the info and accepted the loan offer. My local SC wanted to know if I could come get it today!

Unfortunately, I couldn't because class, but I scheduled for first thing Monday morning. I asked the SA if the car had been rejected for flaws or anything and he said no.

The pessimist in me is still in disbelief, like I'm expecting another call Monday saying "oops, that was a mistake, to the back of the line with you."
Nice.

I seen a MSM on white yesterday but when I clicked details or buy, it opened a new window and went back to the existing inventory page with the same vehicle. I was really temped but had to do some work and then it was gone like 5 mins later. Guess if I see another one I'm going to not hesitate

@BigOWilly Congrats! Remind us again what your EDD range was this morning, when you ordered it, colors and current EDD?
9/11-9/24. Switch to MYP on 8/4. Blue/black/no tow.

Assume your still sitting 9/13 I think you last said. Bet your is coming quick. Was doing a refresh to see what my date push was and boom. Still no text or email.

@BigOWilly Thanks! I have been sitting on 9/14 from the start. So, it appears your vin arrived on the night of the first day in your EDD range, correct? So, for us 14th’ers, we might still have three days to wait. Did your EDD change when your vin arrived? If not, I will be awaiting your update in the morning!

My EDD did not change. You are correct on timing, however, my 9/11 date was after 4 date pushes. My original Edd start date was 8/24.

I am expecting to see EDD change in morning.

My SA told me she would not quote a date, but that she would be shocked if I hadn't received my car by the end of the month. Which is fantastic because my wife Mercedes sold in 4hrs and I listed my Jeep yesterday and have already sold it cash for more than I paid for it new, adding a lift, tires, wheels, etc. This used car market is insane, Im ready for my EV. LETS GOOOO
I sold my Porsche for 13k more then I brought it for 2 years ago. Now I am without a car smh

@Wingwinghello I think you missed my point.... Tesla devalued my new Plaid by more than $60,000 in less than a month - for a "Hot" car, as you say... Imagine how much more of a hit I would take if it were not a "Hot" car, a 2020, instead of a 2021, and plentiful, like an every day MY....
This is the reason I am leasing my model Y.

@BigOWilly Based on my experience, with two other Tesla’s, your car should arrive at Bellevue between Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning. 2-2.5 days transportation- once it’s loaded on the truck (which could take a day or so). Enjoy!

Good morning. Just got VIN assigned #268 series - notified via email. EDD changed to 9/21 - 9/27 (earlier it was 9/18 - 9/30). Since I am in TX have to upload proof of insurance - need to check with current provider. Quick Q on the final payment - Is there an option to make the final payment during delivery after inspection? or have to make it prior to confirm delivery? Current/Previous Tesla owners - please suggest the ideal option.

I wonder the same. Also do you have to pay before even scheduling the final delivery?
