Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

Because they want those accidental cancellations to have to place new orders at the current (much higher) pricing.
That’s what I was thinking. A way for them to kill off lower price orders
I placed my order on 7/6/2022 - Model X Plaid, Silver, 20-inch rims, black interior, no FSD. I received a call a few days ago and was told that my pick-up date was 7/15 - 8/4. The rep predicted it would be July. I live in the Bay Area, California.
I hope this works out with the early delivery date. Fingers crossed.

The person who posted this walked through the touchless pickup parking lot with their camera @ 3 minute mark. I went through it in slow motion and I can't spot a single new July Model X with updated headlights.
I guess we have to wait even longer.
So, if the matrix headlights are on the Refreshed S, why are they not on the Refreshed X?

Because I feel like future updates for the Matrix Headlights will start getting all the cool updates possibly like dimming a zone around oncoming vehicles when even on high beam....

I don't think so because people who come to take delivery with a list of check maps and ready to reject delivery if it doesn't match their expectations
Rejection is worse than order cancelation I guess
Maybe 4680 battery pack hopefully as the Y got the battery 4680 pack so i expect the Flagship models should get them soonThis won't come as a surprise to those who follow this thread regularly.
Refreshed MX deliveries have almost stopped per the tracking spreadsheet. A total of only one delivery per week for the last two weeks.
The optimistic among us hope this means retooling for matrix headlights or other unknown goodies, but there have been no rumors to that effect...just blind hope.

They don't have enough for their limited Austin Y production def not getting on X/S anytime soon.
That would be faster than many of us.My date range changed overnight. WAs aug23 to Oct 18 and now sept 10 to Oct 22. Maybe I will get on my orderversary??
No badges is cool with me! I was just curious. It is unusual, but I kinda like it. Oddly enough, I just put my license plate on this morning and the plate holder that they supply has Model X at the bottom of it...
I too last my VIN and EDD has pushed to July 26-Aug7. At least I hadn’t switched over my insurance to the new VIN as I was out of town this week.
If you mean the black one, yes it is there, but very subdued. It is not visible from more than a few feet away. I'm ok with that.
I left out a word at the end "production". He tweeted it was idiotic to stop model X production when there was still demand for the car. Sorry for the error.
