Is the fob on my newly refreshed Model S LR the same size as previous S model? I want to buy a
Key cover so I can use it on my key ring.

I don't know whether the fobs themselves have the same size but I know that the 2021 Model S fob battery is CR2330 (23mmx3.0mm)
while the prior models is CR2032 (20mmx3.2mm)
i ordered this from amazon and it was a good fit for the key fob. i only used the small key loop it came with to clip on to my keys.

i like that it covers the entire key fob and protects it from scratches.

I bought and received the same key cover from Amazon in black. It’s nice but it
Makes the key feel larger. I ended up putting Tesla’s rubber band key wrap on key and am using that. I like the smaller
Key size with just the band on. Or if I decide
Not to like it, I will just use the naked Tesla key as it is small and doesn’t feel like it is filling my pocket up.
I'm pretty sure it comes with 2 fobs and 2 key cards. Why would a dealer need one of your fobs???
Super odd. I got the LR and the drop-off person gave me two fobs and two key cards.
Only diff I can see physically aside from the diff batteries is that the newer keyfob logo and window outlines are darker. (note: both of these are the refresh MS LR fobs)

Having lived with a M3 for a while, I think fobs are a waste. Just take your phone and tuck a keycard in your wallet as backup. No pocket filler needed!
Although my phone is used 90% of the time, need to carry a keychain for other keys. I like having a key or keycard for valet parking, etc.

I took delivery on a Plaid yesterday and the car came with 2 fobs and 2 cards. Another Plaid owner who took delivery on his 2 weeks ago told me he only got 1 fob. I suspect this goat rodeo may be due to the semi conductor shortage so they want to at least give each new owner 1 new fob. How I was able to get 2 is beyond me.
On another note, I asked about the "parcel shelf" as mine was missing. The delivery specialist or whatever the hell they are called these days said they were on backorder and would reach out when it arrives.

That's exactly what I do. No more bulging fob in front pocket. lol
That dealer stole a $300 fob from you. Mine came with 2 fobs, 2 cards. Contact Tesla.
What @DerbyDave said but also make sure you take out the little plastic tabs in the keyfobs that isolate the batteries before delivery.
Just took delivery of my new refreshed model S in Oakville, Ontario yesterday. It was delivered WITHOUT any key fobs. The dealer said that BOTH key fobs were not working and they needed to order new ones for me. Has anyone had a similar experience of BOTH brand new key fobs not working? This is really weird!!
