Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it appears that the lawsuit was dismissed against most parties, including RegoApps. Perhaps something you can't discuss - if it's true, congrats, sure you're breathing a sigh of relief (even if you had to pay something behind the scenes).

I've noticed that since the most recent update, the app seems to require me to log in more often. It's completely unpredictable, but I've probably had to do it about 6-8 times since updating and previously only had to do it once every few months. May have only done it once or twice since the initial log in, until the last update. I've checked the official tesla app a few times and that's always remained logged in. Also, the bug that causes the app to immediately crash on opening (and then works fine the next time) is still present.
I'm aware of these issues and will fix them in the next update.

I'm still in the middle of a ITC complaint. It's not over yet.

I still see crashes every other time or so when I start the app. Is it just me?

Still crashes after uninstall/reinstall. If I look back in the diagnostics looks like it's been crashing in the background as well. Regardless the one where you open the app and it crashes instantly is the annoying one. Crash frame seems to always be on TCP Conn or HTTP load failed. Not handling the error return properly?

Hey Allen, How possible will it be to get an android app sometime soon?

I have plans for non-iOS users. I can't say that it'll be ready for public "soon", though.

Instant crash on start-up only happened to me very rarely, so it was very hard to figure out why it was happening. It also didn't use to happen prior to iOS 9. It then occurred to me that iOS 9 introduced a crash to Remote S when you lose internet connection, even briefly. I've fixed the bug in the next update (version 3.2), which I submitted to Apple already. Just have to wait for an update to fix this. Hopefully the instant crash on start-up was caused by the same crash bug and is fixed by the new update. It's hard for me to test, because it happens randomly. So far it hasn't instant crash on start-up on me anymore.

Version 3.2 also fixes the case where some users had to login frequently ever since 3.x came out.

That should be all the bugs fixed. If you notice anything else, let me know.

If you need a tester, i would love to do it. Cant wait to the android app. Although if need be i would switch back to iphone if i could get all the added benifits as it seems.

ive been having the crash problem too. Even on my Apple Watch. Thanks for the quick update. Hope it fixes the problem.

met a friend last Friday who had taken delivery of a new model S the prior Monday. He was complaining about the Tesla app already. I told him he needed Remote S. He purchased it in front of me. I think you already have my address for the commission check, correct?

Dear Allen

First of all - thanks for this great app. Thanks for communicating directly with your users. Just awesome :)

I have a request: now that Summoning has arrived in Europe, would you consider making Remote S compatible with European Summoning? It works differently from the US (more restrictive). Probably you'd need to check whether the Model S is an EU-version and change the API calls accordingly.

Happy to assist with testing / providing information. I have an EU-car in Switzerland.

Greetings
dom.

Allen, perhaps I can add a data point to the crashing: I have seen it crash when the network changes. I sometimes use the app when I leave work, and if I'm using Remote S when my iPhone switches from the office WiFi to AT&T LTE, it sometimes crashes. I have also noticed the iPhone will sometimes switch networks as soon as you launch an application that does communication, so this could explain some of the crash-on-launch cases too. Perhaps you'll be able to reproduce this by turning your WiFi router off at just the right time.

If I can figure out how to get it to work, I will. I don't know what the API call for Summoning in non-US cars is.

Thanks. I don't spend any money advertising this app, so I rely on word of mouth from users like you.

I think I already tracked down the bug. I am waiting for Apple to approve the update and then the crashing should stop. So far, it's been "In Review" since yesterday, so it should be released within the next few hours if nothing else goes wrong.
