My understanding is that if you have Sentry mode automatically turned off at home, you have to leave your car at home for approximately 1/2 hour. THEN you can completely turn off Sentry mode and FSD will work. I just drove to work using FSD 10.3, no problems! That was my 2nd drive today.Yep! Just tried this out and it works! All I did was turn of sentry mode, my car was already sitting at home which doesn't have sentry mode active anyway but toggled it off, 2 button reset and went on a drive didn't wait 30mins or anything and it's mind blowing!!! Drove itself to the racetrack and back, its scary but its like waymo but you in the driver seat there to handle any screw ups and take over when uncomfortable
I keep checking teslafi too. Since I still have beta 10.3 on my car and since it's working by turning off Sentry mode, I'm using it, but hoping for the update nonetheless.Nothing here and nothing on TeslaFi. Was that a premature tweet? Lol
I'm low-key happy my rollback didn't happen cause at least I have FSD working with sentry turned off.I'm stuck on 2021.36.5.2, (FSD 10.3) too. I missed the window to roll back to 2021.36.5.1. My app still shows that an update is available, but it doesn't work when I try to install it. Hopefully we'll get the update to fix this ASAP.
Ah I see, my car been sitting at home overnight so maybe that's why I didn't need to wait the 30minsMy understanding is that if you have Sentry mode automatically turned off at home, you have to leave your car at home for approximately 1/2 hour. I turned off FCW, AEB, and Sentry mode. No unexpected braking so far, but I've only gone 5 miles in a suburban setting. Here's hoping an update arrives soon. It’s dangerous. I had it and had a car been behind me I’d been rear ended. Had 6 FCW’s and multiple phantom brakings.
How do you opt out? I don’t see an option to do that. After opting out/back in the afternoon of Oct 21, sill no email. I have a score of 100.0 after 256 miles. 2021 Model S LR.
The safest thing to do is reset, as you mentioned. Im wondering the same thing about when they will revoke FSD based on our score. My biggest concern… when I got FSD, the safety score disappeared HOWEVER it was still there logging in the background. Once FSD rolls out again, unless I plan to do a reset after every drive, my score will certainly drop. As this program rolls out, I wonder how long they will let “normal” Tesla drivers keep the SW when our scores are invisible and probably in the 80’s…?
Make sure you turn off AEB every time you start. It turns back on if you leave the car. Found that out with a 75 to 20mph brake slam on the interstate. Good times.I turned off FCW, AEB, and Sentry mode. No unexpected braking so far, but I've only gone 5 miles in a suburban setting. Here's hoping an update arrives soon.
The letter that went out to one FSD Beta user said they were be warned. It did not include the SCORE. I am assuming/hoping it is just for the initial roll out and other driving will determine if you stay or get removed. At some point it should get better and then all that bought it should be using it (like all of the other beta features). The safest thing to do is reset, as you mentioned. Yes - I had the the FSD beta turned off the second time it did the phantom braking on the highway. I was just driving manually. I would try the sentry mode fix if you can.I
After installing the 2021.36.5.2 yesterday morning, I never got a chance to test out the FSD 10.3 (busy day at home). Now that it’s been revoked, I switched off the FSD Beta option.
Have people experienced issues with manual driving (non-AP non-FSD) on this version?
FYI, I was not pushed the software rollback.
I was getting continuous FCWs the whole time. I had to turn it off because it was constant. I can’t even imagine how bad my score would be if it counted all that. It’s dangerous. I had it and had a car been behind me I’d been rear ended. Had 6 FCW’s and multiple phantom brakings.
I agree, but not knowing what that unknown bottom score is is frustrating. Good luck with your wife’s car.The letter that went out to one FSD Beta user said they were be warned. Under Autopilot where you pressed the button to request the beta - you can click that same button and 'unenroll'. This removes the Safety Score from your app (after 1-2 hours) and takes you out of the beta queue. It also erases all your Safety Score data. So if you ever enroll again, you will start from a clean sheet. How do you opt out? I don’t see an option to do that.

2021 Model S LR. Had 10.3 for about an hour yesterday...lost it...and still nothingAnybody get the FSD 10.3.1 that Elon mentioned? What's the Tesla version number for it? On TeslaFi, I see a lot of people getting the 2021.36.5.1 version, but I thought that was FSD 10.2.
We’ll, they HAVE been developing it for many years.. the move to Vision didn’t throw everything out and require a start from scratch whole cloth, at least not the R&D and AI understanding elements.I’m not very patient with technology. But it’s times like this I remind myself that we are waiting on the order of days & weeks…. For technology that otherwise would not be accessible widely for years and years.
