Slow windshield wipers

I was in my first torrential downpour today and I thought the automatic wipers were stuck on low and weren't switching to high so I put them on myself. To my dismay, the wipers were already on high.

I feel like the high setting of the wipers are only a tad faster than the slow settings on any other vehicle and the slow setting is abysmally slow.

Anyone else get that sense or is it just my car?

The high speed definitely leaves something to be desired. I was actually recently driving with a new Tesla sales employee while it was raining and he was surprised how slow the wipers were on high speed.

I agree, it is not quite up to snuff.

Totally agree, however, after applying RainX, the windshield wipers are adequate. Not the greatest to be sure, but it is a fix.

You're not supposed to drive in the rain.
