THAT SAID, I fully acknowledge the overall purchase experience from Tesla has been pretty ****ing horrible. I went with Tesla financing because I intend to pay it off in <12 months anyways and wanted the fewest headaches like trying to get funding quickly in case a car popped up. Placing the initial order thus required a credit check. I just found out, because they themselves were not accurate or honest about the timeline, their own credit offer has expired. Jesus TF Christ.
Of course, I truly hate buying vehicles in any circumstance. I once left a dealer (without buying) and it took weeks before I stopped thinking about burning that place down. I can’t imagine how frustrating it would be trying to buy an I4 or Q4 (or a BMW M3) from an actual dealer right now, given the still-awful weight times + having to look people in the eye while they try to manipulate you).
