SR Price Increase?

Just saw an inventory car, base model for $42,990. These were either 39,990 or 41,990 depending when you purchased right? So they went back to the original price and increased it along with the other Model Y increases.

You are correct. When I placed my order in February, the base price was $41,990. A couple of days after that it dropped to $39,990 and I got a credit for the $2k drop.

I just ordered mine from existing inventory on Monday and the price was still $39,990.00 + options. Maybe the one you are referencing is a 7 seater?

Looks like they increased it by $3k since Monday. Here's one in stock near me right now:

Nope, it was white/black, 5 seat, 19”. No tow, no 7 seat. See above picture. Subtract $2k for wheels and $3k for 7 seat and you get $42,990 for base price. Original $41,990 plus the two recent $500 raises gets you $42,990. Interesting they are raising prices of a car not available for sale. If some one rejects them they jack the price $3k...

Demand for the Y appears to be insane. I’ve literally watched cars disappear before my eyes over the past week. I think they could jack prices by another $2,000 and still drain inventory and sell new Ys.

I think the only Ys going into to inventory are rejects for one reason or another and most are probably snagged by alert SAs trying to satisfy customers without waiting til end of quarter.

I remember a week or so seeing this. I cracked up seeing the price. Surely they meant 47k. But even then, maybe 37k? But it is apparently sold now.

Free upgrade to LR if you were able to sell for $50k and they marked it up to $57k. Kinda tempted to reach out and see if they want our SR...

I think the SR @ 39,990 is going to end up being the buy of a century. Lots of upward price pressure due to being the bottom end of the tesla model y range, and even more-so with the recent price increasing happening across the board.

A MY SR with 2k miles for 57k. You have to utterly mad to pay that.

That dealership is so nice! They’ll offer your Tesla two years of free oil changes!

So, it went from 39,990 to 42,990 now 45,990?!

Edit- I know it had dropped to 39,990 from its original price. But seeing them go up is pretty neat. Looks like we got a steal on them.
