Congrats! This gives me confidence that mine is not too far behind! I am in Seattle and ordered SR+ Blue with white seats on 2/28, day 1 reservation holder.
I bet you'll get an email
Both you guys, please do us all a favor and hop on once you get the car to answer everyone's questions about the Garage Door opener / Sound System / and Standard Nav questions! I need to make my decision before the prices go up next week :)
I'll try, but I don't know exactly when the truck will deliver it. I'll do my best, but it does sound like others will get it before I do

I know there are good delivery specialists but the ones in my area are killing me. Got the first email from Raleigh today and responded inquiring for any extra info they could provide on delivery. Got "For standard range Model 3 we are looking at about 6-8 weeks for delivery. Once you have been matched to a VIN, we will give you a call to confirm the details and set up delivery." When I ordered SR+ and even on the website now it's 2-4 weeks. Starting to get worried something is wrong with my order. They struggled with my CPO too but oh well lol. I'll still be grinning when I get my 3.

I'm in Asheville, and all of my correspondence, including delivery specifics has been via text and email--no calls at all so far.

This is exciting for those who already have a delivery date. I was curious whether we can call someone to change if the delivery date does not work for us? I would suspect it's a less flexible vs. at a Tesla delivery center since car shipment may be based on city and route that the truck takes. For those with a date already, is there any contact number provided to change if necessary?

No, not that I can find--I plan to call the local dealership in NC tomorrow as my delivery date is not really that convenient for me--will post on this thread tomorrow after I talk to them.

Im wondering same because I have to be at work until a certain time. I cant pick up for about an hour after my "appointment"

-SR+/Black/Black/AP
-Ordered on 3/4 @ 11pm
-Received text a few hrs ago to expect home delivery on 3/14. Original text estimate was 3/24-3/30.
-I live 15 miles from the Tesla factory.
-Website stills says “We are drafting up your contract...” with no VIN or final payment option yet. Completed Tasks tab was updated with the new delivery date.

I'm not sure why people with reservations who have delivery dates within a few weeks are worrying about their delivery timing relative to others. It's not as if people are having to wait months for a confirmed order as in the past. Count it a blessing that Tesla has ramped up production! Reservations are more important when supply is inadequate to quickly meet demand, as was the case with the earliest Model 3 deliveries in 2017/2018.

I was expecting a huge amount of orders once the SR battery is available. Like more than 50 000, maybe 100 000. So, even with actual production rate, it should take months to fulfill. That's why, I'm hoping the reservation will come into play.

Just ordered SR+, Aero, Black interior today (3/11). Instead of modifying my original reservation, which I made on 3/31/16, I accidentally ordered separately, thus creating a second reservation number. I called customer service rep and they said that this isn't a problem, just cancel my original reservation and I'll get a check for the $1k back. Duh. Anyways, the rep also said that canceling the original reservation and creating a new one will have no impact on when I would receive my car (as opposed to having simply updated my existing reservation number with the order). Not surprising I suppose.

Your right, I just realize the same thing on my side...I have 2 RN numbers inside my Tesla account. My order and my original reservation from 2016. Why Tesla didn't merge them knowing that it is the same account?

In Charlotte NC. Ordered 5 minutes after the opening 2 weeks ago (for the $35k model). RN but no VIN. Delivery date 3/15-3/27 but have yet to hear from anyone...

***NOTE: i applied for the loan through Tesla. Never heard anything back. But this morning i clicked on the "Payment Method" and it showed "approved, please click *confirm*". So i just did that. Makes me wonder if mine is being held up from the loan process until i hit *confirm*?? It seems others locally now have a VIN and delivery date (at least a few that i've seen on the Forum). Anyway, hoping to see a VIN and "real" delivery date soon.
