went in today to pick up my M3 SR+, white ext, black int, 19-in rims in Southern California. Got there and saw the car had some damage (most likely from delivery)... was very upset and disappointed with my whole experience.. didn’t expect my first Tesla experience to be like this.... after speaking with the manager and finding out they couldn’t get this fixed at their shop right away, they got me a nice model S loaner from enterprise and a voucher at Tesla store and a new same spec vehicle delivered for Monday. I am soo impressed with this manager. I can’t wait to pick up my M3 this Monday. Til then, model S all weekend!!


Wow. That sucks, but then at the same time, it also doesn't suck since you get a Model S loaner until Monday!
 
Finally got a March 30 delivery date for the SR with AP in the Vancouver, BC area. April 2016 reservation holder and Mar 1st order. No VIN has been assigned on my account page and I never got an email about the date. Of course I'm out of the country that week so I'll have to push it back. Does Tesla do non Saturday deliveries?
 
My car was delivered yesterday afternoon. minor paint damage all over the car - chips in the front bumper and fenders, a few scratches, a rock shut in the door, and the exterior was absolutely filthy. No effort was made to clean or care for the car prior to delivery. Delivery guy (tow truck driver - not Tesla) noted all the damage on a piece of paper that we both signed and he said he'd get it back to Tesla. Nice guy.
Called Tesla and got a ticket opened. They're telling me to go to a local body shop and Tesla will pay for the repairs.
Also have a $10.14 supercharging fee from the day before I took delivery.
Also also, can't use the Tesla app as the car still doesn't show delivered in the system. They said it can take 48 hours.

Received my SR+ black exterior, white interior w/ sport wheels last night. It was raining so my inspection was quick but looked to be in great condition. Will get to do a more thorough inspection today. Car was driven to my house by a factory employee so that was about 20 of the 30 miles that it arrived with on the odometer.

That is unfortunate, sorry to hear about your experience. It looks like Tesla is pushing so hard to make their Q1 numbers that they are dropping the ball on some deliveries. I’ve never been a fan of home delivery. I prefer to pick up the car at a delivery center where I can thoroughly inspect it before accepting it. But I know some people live too far away for this to be practical.

And they're also doing too many for this to be practical - probably don't have the space to do them all there in an efficient manner. At your home they can drop and leave basically. At delivery center it's hard for them to kick you out the door.

3/23 delivery as promised!

An unbelievable drive home. I’m trying to resist more driving on our dirty roads until the front is wrapped in a few days. Checklist ok except for: Fog light control is present but the lights don’t come on, a passenger handle is overly recessed, and the immersive option is not present. Will see how first two get settled and if Tesla answers the email on the immersive SR+ before mentioning the audio. Was happy to see song title and artist was displayed when using radio (it wasn’t there when I went for a test drive. The HD radio logo is present but greyed out, not sure what’s up with that. Another nice surprise was the scale model car (2Apr2016 reservation holder but not a store reservation). It’s red but would have preferred black.

I called in to Tesla to push back my date and talked to a sales dude I'm Vancouver. He informed me of my personal Delivery Specialist and noted the delivery date on my account is a rough estimate and that my specialist will contact me to firm up a date. He also said that my VIN is still TBD. More waiting it seems

Ordered my SR+ on 3/14, got a VIN 4 days later. I was contacted yesterday afternoon (3/22), by someone from Las Vegas, saying my car was ready for delivery. All this sounds like great news but...

After I received the call & email from Las Vegas, I called back, and got no answer. I replied via email, and referred him to the Tesla representative in metro Atlanta (425 miles away, in a state with no Tesla presence). The gentleman from Atlanta who initially contacted me, gave me a different scenario on how things would go down. Something about FedEx'ed paperwork before the car would be delivered. I'm also assuming that neither work on Saturday, for I've gotten no reply from my email. Color me confused.

Hoping for resolution on Monday... Hopefully get the car this week!

What config did you go with? Hopefully my car is hitching a ride on the same delivery truck as yours!

Good to know, how have March 27 delivery date but no VIN, and no call yet. Hopefully if not this week, then soon after!!!
 
Picked up my black, black, aero 3 yesterday. I'll try and answer some questions here.

No problems with finish. I do have a fog light toggle option but didnt yet check to see if it works. I can confirm no immersive sound option in UI (sales rep promised to look into it and call me back next week...he was befuddled), and no sound from A pillar speakers. Couldn't hear anything from the rear above the trunk (anywhere else I should look for speakers? Tried to use a referral but because I ordered before the new program started i had no luck. Rep told me my car had HW3 (and that most deliveries this late in March do as well). Have the latest software update 2019.15.5. The car is a dream, love it.

To clarify, it is an SR+
