I really hope I don't regret the SR+. I guess I have 7 days to change my mind and go back to the LR AWD.
It’s literally 20 thousand more dollars for 100k in range plus you lose the EV incentive 5 thousand dollars! Who one earth would leave money on the table??!!?? Only the rich or super well off and the dumb. I couldn’t justify going to LR, maybe in 5 years when their battery tech gets better and the LR gets you 700 kilometers plus, ok maybe I’m in for dropping another 20k and paying a total of 75K for a car. A small car.

"Only" $9,000 more USD. And no more tax credit for me either way.

Agreed. Us Canadians have it kind of hard. Everything costs 35% more and the same jobs sure don't generally pay 35% more in our dollars at least in my industry. If I lived in the US and had the same salary in the US the AWD LR would be a no brainer at $48,990, hell, I would actually buy a performance for 57K. But when the SR+ starts at 55K here with LR @ 65K and Performance at 75K plus almost 10K for FSD its just not happening, especially loosing out on the 5K rebate.

I could have probably swung the extra 15K at the end of the day if I gave up FSD, but I put more value in being along for the ride as FSD improves (I love tech) than having to stop less often the odd time I do a road trip.

How is it "literally" $20,000 more to go from the SR+ at $55,900 to the LR AWD at $65,990? That's a $10,090 difference, albeit a $5,000 loss in EV credit in Canada. $10,090 + 15% (assume highest taxed province in Canada) = $1,603.50 + $5,000 (lost EV credit) = $16,603.50 (literally).
