SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I ordered my M3 SR+ on 3/25/21, white paint, white interior, 18 inch wheels. I was quoted 1-13 weeks when I ordered, account now shows May 28-June 17 timeframe. I plan to take delivery at the service center in Maplewood, MN.

I ordered last night (4/1) and at the time it said 9-12 weeks.
Today I have a VIN with a suggested delivery date of 4/2 - 4/5.

I will take delivery at Fremont.

Ordered on March 22, the estimate was1-13 weeks at the beginning, then changed to 9-13 weeks since March 31, and then back to 1-13 weeks again today. I guess I need to be patient and get used to the frequent changes. Lol

It will go back and forth between dates range and weeks range. Get used to it. Lol

I would stop worrying until at least mid May. Then in May come back to this thread and keep seeing it people freak out (we all did) lol

Woke up yesterday to it saying estimated delivery April 17-May 13... then later that afternoon it changed to May 22-June 21. May 22-june 21 is 9-13 weeks from the time I ordered it (March 22). I am hoping it changes again, I was really liking that April 17 - May 13 time frame

I'm still trying to figure out how Tesla delivering their cars quarterly works. I ordered mine March 30th, and got a delivering date of June 5- June 24. Now does that means nobody before June gets any cars? Because two weeks ago the delivery time frame was 1-3 weeks. If I've placed an order then, probably I would get a car much sooner than June

Each quarter, M3's start with overseas car production first to account for transit time via ship, then production will start for left hand drive cars around the middle of the quarter, deliveries typically start on the east coast and work west across the country.

Oh thanks. I'm in Vancouver, Canada, that means most likely I won't be seeing mine till late June. Really regret my decision for not ordering last week now.

I think there's only one delivery center in Vancouver right now. When I placed my order, I didn't get to choose where I can pick it up.

Did not know this, but it makes sense. This gives me a better understanding why I should expect May - June in Toronto.

I thought Shanghai gigafactory will be supplying 3 and Y to Europe and Australia? If that's the case, Fremont will be mostly for North America market?

Also, Elon mentioned about build quality being a little rushed during end of quarter push. If Tesla ships their vehicle regionally, does that mean the cars build for overseas are the best quality, and we live in the west coast will get the worst ones?

I don’t think so, i live in the Netherlands, look at how they delivered my sr+ from Fremont. I returned it and will have a call tomorrow how to solve this.

Been owning and driving the 3 for over 2 weeks now.. What I notice is the haters.... people always want to race you... or big trucks coal rolling.... cutting you off on freeway... at stop signs they roll pass you...etc.... the hate is real. How do yall deal with that?

I live in the bay area, no hate here. They’re everywhere, maybe that’s why.

Man, that was the worst one I've seen. Keep us up to date if they could be able to reschedule you for another one. Sucks to wait 3 more months for another shipment.
