There’s a very large batch of 2023.12.1 going out. (I can see via teslafi) but ONLY it 4% of cars getting this new version are upgrades from 2023.2.12. Seems like only cars with recent updates are getting the latest version and 2023.2.12 remains on ~20% of the fleet.

Big jump, looks like 2023.2.12. down to 15% of fleet now.

I'm kinda happy that my car is downloading a slightly older "new" version (2023.6.11 instead of 2023.12.1, at least it includes TeslaVision parking) because I think it solves my dilemma and means I CAN get FSD beta with this build, as long as I don't update again after this update.

I'm at 60% install progress now and next time I drive I'll be on 2023.6.11!!!

Mine finally took 2023.12.1 up from 2023.2.12. Skipped all the HW3/4 vision only focused 2023.6.x builds (too many angry people with no parking warning system before then with vision only).

Sign of the times after 5 years... legacy hardware, back of the line. And soon likely no or far and few updates.... whatever.

I'm hoping for this too. My car came with FSD and I haven't been able to use the Beta yet since I've been stuck on 2023.2.12.

Well, I finally got off the schnide and received the update notice for 2023.12.1, bypassing 2023.6. Looks like a big push going out tonight.

However I just checked TeslaFi and for the cohort of cars like mine (2021 Model 3 LR made in China) in Australia there is still 30% of cars on 2023.2.12 - including my car, so that measure hasn’t moved forward at all since my previous post above.

I’m also still stuck on this old version. My car won’t even check for an update in real time on the software tab. It just says it’s up to date as of 4/21 and it’s now 4/22…
