Supercharger - Baker, CA (LIVE / EXPANDED 40 V2 + 20 V3 stalls)

I am getting this feeling that two key Supercharger openings in Baker and Kettleman City may enable some city pairs for Tesla Semi announcement on November 15.

190 miles Long Beach to Baker.

195 miles Long Beach to Kettleman City.

180 miles Fremont to Kettleman City.

Do any of these new locations have a stall that might be useable by a semi?

I hear ya!

We are on a photo famine. .... and to think there must be Model S-X owners traveling by this site hourly.

'ome on now, take a little time out for the team and photo this Mega Supercharging Site up!

(preferably in the daytime, with the sun to your back)

You're implying that some of the SC stalls would be Semi Truck accessable? Semis may require multiple plugs (2 or 4) for large battery packs and quicker turnaround. Such multi plug stalls may be in the expansion plans so would look out for extra SC cabinets/capacity.

I may have missed it, but does anyone know if this location will have a solar panel supply? Looking at the last photos with the large footings, my guess is yes. Also, Kettlemen is covered with them and Baker so far appears to be its twin (if not close cousin).

I believe that on the Kettleman thread someone stated that there is a mysterious stall with supercharger labelled "Van".
There's no way kettleman will have a semi truck plug.
The lot is way too small, it also has solar above which I'm not sure a semi will clear under, and if it can then it'll have a tough time navigating in between the posts that are holding up the panels.

Basically the way way it is now, there's no room for a semi truck.
