Baker would split up the distance between Barstow and Primm, and that would give people another option if either Barstow or Primm were overloaded or offline. Seems like it would be an ideal location for another supercharger.
The breakers that were stolen should be in the big gray cabinets that are behind the two sets of white cabinets (Superchargers and PowerPacks). The yellow bollards are surrounding the green transformer. The smaller switchgear beside the transformer should be for smaller stuff like site lighting, etc.
Will the resolution be good enough to distinguish between Vandals, Visigoths, Ostrogoths, or other barbarian hordes? Though I suppose identifying Goths wouldn't be too tough...
12-26-2016 Barstow reports of long queues, from Plugshare report of 14-20 waiting & this is a picture from FB

I can confirm that. I had 12 cars in line in front of me when I got here, and the line is getting longer... We definitely need more superchargers on this route. It's getting ridiculous.
Just counted the cars in line a moment ago - it's 20 cars. I don't know what the record for the longest line at a supercharger is, but it cannot be much worse...
It's about an hour more of driving time to go Primm-->Mojave--> LA than it is to go Primm-->Barstow-->LA but it might be worth it if you have the range to make Mojave and the wait at Barstow is 2 hours. Just an idea.
And now the Tejon Ranch lines are gone, Tesla solved that problem. I suspect that in 2017 Tesla will improve the Supercharging options on the LA to Vegas route.
At this point I don't know what I'm happier to see. I can now watch from my car the Monday night football game playing in Chili's; or that I can finally see the Tesla logo on the covered shelter...
That works great, unless of course, you are traveling from NorCal to Tucson for the winter. Been transiting Barstow annually this week since 2012 with no problems. Hope to keep the streak alive.
