Should be. Check the in car navigation screen.
It's still listed on Tesla's "find us" page, and I believe in the car's nav system as well, so it should still be up. If you want to make sure, give them a call and they should be able to fill you in.
Now that Laurel Supercharger is officially online, how long until they shut this one down?
Bethesda Death Watch...
My vote is the end of a month!
I used the Bethesda Charger yesterday. It was way too slow! I'm not sure, though what I'll do on DC area trips when they get rid of this charger, the other SC's are too far from NOVA/DC.
I guess I'll transfer my errant Laurel 14 October guess to the Bethesda dead pool.
I opened up Places on my Nav just now, showing someone how I can find superchargers. Bethesda was not on the list!
Strange - signs notifying people of decommissioning at the end of the month had been posted there previously but now that Laurel's open it's just quietly decommissioned with little or no notice. Maybe as a service to uninformed owners who might not know how much preferable it would be to go to Laurel.
Also disappeared from the website.
That was a pretty short death watch!
Not dead just yet, though some are using it as a parking spot now. Halloween!
I think it was temporarily closed, but now appears to be open again, according to supercharge.info. Perhaps an upgrade has occurred?
It's not big enough, could you please zoom in on the relevant part
So is Bethesda finally closed? It's not showing up on the tesla.com map anymore, so I assume it's not in the Nav anymore.
?? Per a plugshare checkin it was still open on November 1st. Zombie Supercharger
No Zombie Supercharger is what was in the parking lot at Newark
Frankenstein maybe? It's still there, and it still works. If nobody wants it I'll take it home
Dammit, still works? I was crazy low last night - needed a quick up - and ended driving to the evGO behind the old Walgreens on Connecticut. Could've saved $15!
Just used it last night... still operational!
