Interesting blue sono tubes. Could they be for light posts
or possibly the allusive solar canopy?
Along with that there was also a video. Matt White on TwitterMatt White on twitter counts 16, but there are workers and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being 20.
Supercharge.info says 12 stalls.
Yes. The center plastic is the conduit. The light posts come later.
What do you actually mean?
IMHO there will be no solar canopies until Tesla has significant positive operating cash flow, save for a few flagship locations (Baker CA, etc).Interesting blue sono tubes. Could they be for light posts or possibly the allusive solar canopy?

I'm not sure the current level of Tesla ownership in the Toronto/Hamilton area, but based on the Supercharger rollout/density it looks like California numbers. There's like 11 Superchargers operating/under construction in a 100 mile radius.I here you but Tesla is getting a screaming bargain with our dollar so low right now and it looks like Ontario Model 3 order rate is something in the order of the 4th highest state so we are a significant market.
Between Limeridge, Mapleview and the one Grimsby (I believe) this area is covered decently.I'm not sure the current level of Tesla ownership in the Toronto/Hamilton area, but based on the Supercharger rollout/density it looks like California numbers. I was told 16, although there's room for more. As of yesterday, 16 charging units were in place. Supercharge.info has a wrong number, and its number of construction days is also off. They seem to have started counting from yesterday, when I wrote them about this.Matt White on twitter counts 16, but there are workers and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being 20.
I'm not aware of any plan or action yet in the Niagara region. And St. Catherine's soon too. Yes, this area is well covered. Good for redundancy in case one is down temporarily.
If demand charges are the issue, they should install Power Packs at Supercharger sites to smooth out their loads. With demand prices here it could be financially sensible to start the solar canopy installs. Also there is great visibility from the highway as advertising. Using renewables to feed superchargers is one of the only remaining promises Elon has not fully followed through on yet.
