I don't know what all the impatience is about. In post #29 the message from Canadian Tire said "should be up and running mid to late October" and it's not even mid October yet.

Haha I’m assuming that’s sarcasm…

Also, I went through last weekend and tried to plug in at the visitor centre J1772 only to find out that the visitor centre (including the charger) has been demolished haha. Castlegar is starting to feel like Grand Forks…getting fewer chargers instead of more. I think Grand Forks is still holding strong at 0 chargers after having 2-3 spots in the past.

This one is really weird.
In the last 2 months, it's moved from 15th longest to 12th longest.
Most are in Europe or Canada, but one is in Hawaii and one in Florida.

That's a good question and I don't know the answer (I'm in Victoria). My friend Patrick lives in Castlegar and occasionally sends me photos. I'll ask him to poke his finger in it the next time he's at Canadian Tire.

I agree. Even though I am not from the island, I like driving up there. When they had the initial twitter poll, I suggested 3 sites all three of which made it to the voting list and hopefully will get done soon!
