I was at the Peter J. Camiel service plaza today and notice construction on the parking lot. It appears to be supercharger construction. Also this was one of the future supercharger locations on the Find us map

Someone check Bowmansville in Denver.
I cannot imagine the involvement of the PTC will speed up these installs.

Diversion: 0.0 miles
To: Breezewood, PA - 146 miles

Westbound, splits a 129.5 mile gap from the start of I-76E.
Now needs an Eastbound splitter.

Great find!! I’m a big fan of rest stop locations. Get what you need and get on your way.


We’re always forced to take the 3 to visit my brother in law near Harrisburg if we don’t want to charge (we don’t because it’s always a short visit) but this one would be convenient enough to take the S if that’s what we want to drive.

I noticed that. Based on 8 at Elverson, the 8 concrete pedestals delivered, and not overwhelming demand at this location, I expect there will be 8.

8 stalls under construction at Peter J. Camiel service plaza of PA turnpike in Chester County, westbound service only.

Location

Icing could be a problem, but chargers appear accessible from both sides

Any chance anyone has tested since MapGuy11 did on April 23rd to see if the Supercharger at the Peter J. Camiel station is live yet? Will be heading west right past Peter J. Camiel station towards Harrisburg later today and could use a charge.
