Even though the car screen reported it as down, it wasn't. I went there to charge and it worked just fine.

More likely the SC site lost cellular connectivity due to outages elsewhere, and couldn't report its online status to Tesla.

Probably varies per site but take a look and you'll see the antennas on top of SC cabinets.

Huh. I’ll have to do that later on. I honestly thought they’d all be on hardwired connections.

It ended in the Irving Gas station parking lot which is right there. Several news sites show the superchargers in the background. I am sure they will be processing the scene for a while.
