Posted on facebook today - fence is gone, but still no meter. I'm guessing they've moved the fencing down to to the Newton, MA supercharger build which has begun (same company).

The issue is almost certainly related to how the primaries are being pulled to feed the site. They're either tapping off an existing transformer that feeds the shopping center, or running new service through an existing conduit to that transformer and then making the connection (all guesswork on my part). They may need to negotiate with the tenant to cut power to complete the work. This is in contrast to typical delays where they just need to get one or more crews in to connect service to a new or existing pole.
I guess all my assumptions were wrong - it was just waiting for NG to install the meter after all

Enjoyed following this with all of you. So nice to have this open!!! I don’t know of any motels with level 2, so this is welcome addition. I did appreciate the free level 2 downtown while eating for an hour and a half. But that doesn’t give you much juice.

Of course when I came out all the spots for empty, except for one, and some jackass parked next to the drivers door on my car… and of course they didn’t have an EV.
