Maybe not so strange a location. More of a capacity increase for the local area (on top of Lee site at Mass Pike) given big summer vacation crowd, versus a transit type location.

National Grid's request to install the pole for "6-8 Tesla Super charging stations" was approved at the 3/23 meeting.

Found the site plans for Lenox from a zoning board public hearing in April that were previously unposted. Seems likely this is still on track for construction later this later this summer/fall to meet the current Q422 target completion on Tesla's map.

This is a traditional 8 stall v3 build - not prefab.

This is really close to the Pittsfield line. Hopefully they're looking for spots on Rt8 and more spots north on 7

The lenox site has been up for month. My navigation just started showing the location as Tesla Super charger. But it doesn't work! When will it be activated?

Its been up for months....but not yet activated. Navigation shouldn't show it until it is active and we can juice up there. ts located 20 years from a terrific coffee shop, Chocolate Spring, in Lenox Commons.

Did you get a picture while you were there? It's not on my nav yet.

Here is a link to all the permit information issued on 6/29/2022. Gordon is the contractor. Best I can tell no inspections or CO issued yet.

Last update I had was waiting for a transformer. It’s on my route to visit as part of a scenic drive and meetup at the Chicopee supercharger Sunday 1-3pm

Sunday 10/16 - transformer, no meter yet. Hopefully soon. Some of the pedestal backs are loose and three caps are off (one shattered).
