Lone Pine expansion is complete and open. 16 stalls. Damn, that was fast. I am assuming this construction team are the same ones working on the new Mojave Workz site, given the timing and rapidity of that site.
Sorry, no pics. Heading straight to Bishop to charge.
@bmah
ExactlySo just to confirm that's 8 new pedestals for a total of 16 V3 stalls?
Bruce.
It’s worth the $5 just to use the bathroom! I agree though. Definitely worth a visit.View attachment 932662
I always liked this location...now with 16 slots! The Film History Museum is totally worth the $5 suggested donation, in my opinion.
Pretty sure the utility isI cannot absolutely confirm the start and end dates for this expansion, but I am fairly certain that it was initiated and completed in under five weeks.
Does anyone know who the energy supplier is for this location?
Amazing, can we now get one at Kramer Junction? Would complete that corridor perfectly!It has been a fascinating experience watching this site. It went from for the 2 V2 stalls, very early in the game, to 8 V3 stalls, and now 16. I am impressed at the attention that Tesla has given to this location.
I was there in Feb 2015 and I seem to recall that there were 4 stalls.4SUPER9,
I am almost one hunnert percent positive that when I visited Lone Pine in June 2015 (it opened in late January) that there were four stalls. It may be that they christened two stalls early and then christened the second two later. But I always thought that it was a four-stall site from the git-go. I do not recall where Tesla only built two-stall permanent sites. Madison, Wisconsin had a three-stall site early on.
